I love everything about Christmas and the build up to it; checking out the Christmas light displays, going to traditional Christmas markets, drinking lots of Bailey’s hot chocolates and simply eating and drinking lots (just because it’s Christmas!)
To help get me in the Christmas spirit early, Moonpig invited me to their HQ to participate in their #HeartfeltwithMoonpig campaign. The evening was split into three sections, each representing the different types of personalised gifting offered by Moonpig – cards, cocktails and flowers!
Personalised Christmas cards

The first station that our group went to was the personalised Christmas card photobooth, complete with a green screen, props and a real life Santa! We had a few Christmas photos taken, and then we could use them to add to our selected card template. The process of creating a personalised card with Moonpig is super easy – I use them regularly for birthday cards. The hardest part was choosing which template to use!
If you fancy creating your own personalised Christmas card, Moonpig have a huuuuuge selection of templates to choose from and personalise with your very own photographs and text.
Flower arranging

For the second station, we were treated to a creative flower arranging masterclass. We selected a box each (I opened the Christmas roses box) and gave it a good go to arrange the bouquet into 3 little individual vases, all varied in size. It’s actually quite hard to cut the stems to the right length, remove the foliage and create a presentable little bouquet… who knew!
But with Moonpig flowers, you are in luck. You can order them to arrive in a lovely pre-arranged bouquet, or if you think the recipient is a dab hand at arranging flowers, you can send them ‘letterbox flowers’ as a nice surprise! You can even add on cute little extras, like a bottle of bubbly or a hamper with chocolate.
Cocktail masterclass

We were put into teams and shown how to make three different Festive cocktails in three different rounds: Taste, Speed and Flair. First up, we watched a demo with the barman and then we made our own Gingerbread Mojito to taste – which didn’t taste too bad!
In the Speed round, we were put into teams and stations to see who could make the Port of Call cocktail the quickest! We did well, but then realised we’d actually used Gingerbread liqueur instead of Port… oops!
For the 3rd and final round, Flair, we made a Christmapolitan each. This was my favourite cocktail of the three, which had Amaretto, lime, cranberry juice and Champagne. It was just the right amount of sweet and sharp.
Moonpig sell a variety of alcoholic gifts which can be used to make cocktails at your Christmas dinner party with friends and family – so it’s well worth checking the range out for your Christmassy gathering!
With Moonpig, you really are in safe hands this Christmas! A big thank you to Moonpig for such a fun festive event. 🎅🎅🎅
