November 2018: My Month in Photos

November my month in photos

It’s been a strange month, and one that I’m sadly glad to see the back of. You may have noticed that I’ve gone quiet on social media for a month and I’ve not been blogging, and it’s just because my hearts not in it at the moment. James and I have split up and it’s hard to deal with something that wasn’t what you wanted – but life must go on and everything happens for a reason.

So, it might be a little quiet around here whilst I get my head around things.

With all that said and done, my friends have rallied round me and I’ve had a month full of fun things to keep me busy. It’s time for my month in photos post – so here’s what I’ve been up to in November!

A weekend in Folkestone

Despite what happened afterwards, I had a nice weekend away in Folkestone with James. We were treated to a complimentary stay at the Clifton Hotel and dinner at the Marco Pierre White restaurant. I’ll have a review coming soon to Hannatalks about why Folkestone should be your next weekend staycation break!

Starbucks christmas drinks

One of the best things about Christmas, am I right? I tried a toffee nut latte and it was delicious. The salted caramel brownie hot chocolate is next on my list! Has anyone tried that yet?

Christmas toasties at Costa

Costa has a big place in my heart. I probably go there around twice a week before work (but I won’t be now I’m finally driving(!)) but I tried their new Christmas toastie and it was the best; packed with turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and lots and LOTS of cheese!

Dinner at Giggling Squid

I was invited to Giggling Squid for a complimentary meal, so Chloe and I tucked into three huuuuge courses, a bottle of wine and cocktails! We had a fun evening, delicious food and the nicest cocktails – keep your eyes peeled for a review coming soon.

Anne Marie at Brixton Academy

I saw Anne Marie at Brixton Academy and she was just amazinggggg live as per! Fingers crossed she’s at some music festivals this year!

Christmas markets in Bath

I went on a day trip to Bath with my friends and we had the nicest day shopping, exploring all the Christmas stalls and eating lots of Christmassy food! The Christmas stalls were dotted around the city, so we had fun exploring the cute cobbled streets and soaking up the Christmassy atmosphere – despite it pouring it down with rain all day!

Churros and baileys hot chocolate

Piping hot churros drizzled in chocolate and baileys hot chocolate with cream on top are just staple Christmas market foods, aren’t they?!

December is looking equally as exciting and I’m looking forward to being happier and more independent. I’ve got lots of things planned and a few city breaks booked for next year, too. Fingers crossed December has lots of lovely things in store for me. πŸŽ„πŸŽ…πŸ»

I’m sorry you are going through a breakup. Hugs xx

You’ve had a busy month. I was in Bath when they were setting up the stalls for the Christmas market, but didn’t get a chance to see them though.
