The Baileys Treat Bar Christmas Pop Up in Covent Garden 2018

I don’t know about you, but I associate Baileys with Christmas. As soon as it hits December, I love having Baileys on ice as a treat, or adding a shot of it to my hot chocolate – the salted caramel Baileys is amazing by the way, I found it last year at the airport and I’m yet to find it again!

Well if like me you love Baileys, you’re in for a treat! Bailey’s are holding a pop up treat bar in Covent Garden, from the 7th December to the 22nd December, serving up delicious hot chocolates, cocktails and Instagrammable treats for everyone to enjoy – including mini chocolate reindeers filled with a delicious Baileys cocktail!

The indulgent pop up bar offers a fully customisable menu – including vegan options – to make sure no one misses out on a delicious Baileys treat this festive season. You can let your imagination run wild and order some fun creations, adding fun and delicious toppings such as brownies, chocolate pretzels, white chocolate drops and wafer straws. There’s even a mini topping station at the end of the bar with more treats including mini marshmallows, sprinkles and edible gold dust.

Inside the Baileys pop up there’s an Alpine-themed snug area, neon signs, candy wallpaper and an infinity mirror. It’s the perfect chilled-out area for a well deserved treat after Christmas shopping in the City.

The beautifully decorated bar area serves up hot drinks and cocktails with Baileys Original Irish Cream, Baileys Chocolat Luxe and Baileys Almande, plus salted caramel Baileys espresso martinis. There’s even exclusive Baileys hampers to purchase, and a pick n’ mix station to customise presents with.

Jade and I queued for around half an hour to get in, and then in the queue we decided to order a hot chocolate with toppings (£6.50 each). We both had a hot chocolate with a Baileys shot; Jade added wafer straws, mini marshmallows, chocolate scrolls and chocolate sauce, and I went for brownies, crushed Oreos, crushed honeycomb and chocolate sauce. We added edible gold dust too and a cute red and white stripey paper straws.

It was gooey, indulgent and rich – the perfect Festive treat for wandering around Covent Garden with!
