June: My Month In Photos

June has been an eventful and emotional one…
1. Weston-super-Mare Sand Sculpture Festival

I took some time off work this month and went to Somerset to stay with my nan and we planned a couple days off. We visited the Sand Sculpture festival, which I visited last year as well, ‘cept this time we saw it in the boiling hot sun and the theme had changed this year. I’d thoroughly recommend it if you find yourself in Weston one afternoon. πŸ™‚

2. Day Trip To Bath

Whilst I was in Somerset, I also planned a day out with my Nan and Aunt. We visited the Pump Room restaurant for breakfast, walked around the Roman Baths and the Abbey, and ate lunch at Bills. It was a super lovely day and I seriously can’t wait to visit again.

3. Somerset Sunsets

One of the main reasons I love Somerset – the sunsets are always beautiful. This sunset doesn’t even have a filter!

4. Intu Lakeside Stampede Eatery

I was invited down to Stampede to eat a meal there and it was absolutely delicious. Think smoke-grilled burgers, fluffy sweet potato fries and sweet milkshakes. I can’t wait to go back!

5. ZSL London Zoo Sunset Safari
I met up with my girls from Uni and we went to ZSL London Sunset Safari and had the best evening. If you’re looking to spend a Friday evening in London, then this is the place to be!

6. Kylie Cosmetics Metallic Lip Gloss in Heir

This is my fourth Kylie Cosmetics kit now and it’ll probably be my last. Heir is a metallic lip gloss and it dries to a semi-matte finish. I’m unsure on the colour though… It’s quite light and I’m just so used to reds and pinks. Hopefully it’ll grow on me.

7. Meeting Up With Laura

Y’know those friends that you don’t see for years, but when you do, you just pick up from where you left off? Well Laura is one of those girls. We met on Stardoll actually, about 8 years ago now, and I’d class her as one of my best friends! We had a lovely little catch up of Waga and froyo.

8. SNOG Frozen Yoghurt

I’ve been addicted to froyo this month, I’ve had an original one loaded with fruit, and an original one loaded with oreos and brownies. Mmmmm. Chelmsford need a froyo shop ASAP!

9. New Look Jumpsuit

Anyone who knows me knows that all I wear really are dark colours and stripes, and I wear jeans 99% of the time. I saw this little tropical looking jump suit hanging up in New Look and I just had to try it. And it fits absolutely perfectly. I can’t wait to wear it in Tenerife one evening!

10. SNOG froyo van at London Embankment

Yeah uh, more froyo. There’s a converted London bus on the embankment this summer serving froyo and they’re even got lovely little deck chairs to chill by the Thames.

11. Losing My Job
Well, this was a complete shock.

The company I work for went into administration and within less than a week, we were closed. I’m pretty heart broken because I worked hard and even got myself to Duty Manager position and full time hours. I’m going to miss all the people I worked with so much, so after a good 2 years I’m now jobless. Time to start doing what I want to do in life!

12. Braintree Freeport W7 Beauty Outlet Treats
It’s no shock that I needed cheering up, so I went into the new Beauty Outlet store at Freeport and treated myself to 10 new nail varnishes and some hair care bits. Sorry not sorry.

Here’s hoping July will be a lot nicer to me…
