Intu Lakeside Everyone’s Invited Event + VIP Blogger Event

 

Last weekend I was invited to Intu Lakeside‘s big summer event called Everyone’s Invited, where I met Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, sipped on mocktails in our VIP area and had a meet and greet with Rylan…

The afternoon started with a meet and greet with Reggie ‘N’ Bollie, runner ups in last years X Factor, and they were genuinely nice, friendly guys. It’s nice to see X Factor contestants that don’t let fame go to their head!

After we met them, we headed to our very own VIP section in front of the stage set up in the centre of the shopping centre. It had a lovely boho feel, decked out with flowers and a faux grass flooring. We had our very own bar man on hand to make mocktails for us! There was also a candy cart packed with allllll the sweets. I had my eye on the candy sticks and they made for a lovely little sweet treat in-between all the food we were kindly given!

Eateries from all around Intu Lakeside made sure we were well fed too! Wagamama, Pizza Hut, Stampede and Menchies supplied allllll the food and we were all very happy bloggers. I could have quite happily sat and ate all the Wagamama pulled pork gyozas. I’m not even sorry.

After our big feast, the main acts Reggie ‘N’ Bollie came onto the stage! They sang a few covers and their latest hit New Girl which is such a feel good summer tune. The crowd loved it and they were really involved with all the little ones singing and dancing along!

There were various food and drink stands around the centre, and I spotted a candy floss one just after the crowd cleared from Reggie N Bollie. I’ve never tried candy floss before so I managed to nab some and of course, it warranted a photograph! Happy days.

Lush Lakeside were on hand to show us a variety of bath bombs, bath melts and shower jellies. We also had the opportunity to make our very own bath bomb to take home. A girl can never have too many Lush products – AMIRITE?! I didn’t catch the names of the two girls at the stall but they were incredibly friendly and funny and such an attribute to Lush!

To round off a fun afternoon, we had a meet and greet with Rylan! We were each given a copy of Rylan’s new autobiography ‘The Life of Rylan’ and signed them for us. I said how incredible he smelt and he said I was gorgeous… NO YOU’RE EXCITED ABOUT SEEING RYLAN. I’m looking forward to reading the book whilst sunning myself in Tenerife next week!

We were also given an incredible goody bag each, with products from various shops at Intu Lakeside. I’m looking forward to trying the Body Oil from The Body Shop, using the perfume samples and trying a Yankee candle for the first time! I was unbelievably excited at the Paperchase 15% off blogger card too! All the stationary, come to Mumma.

 

A massive thank you to Voice Comms for inviting me and Intu Lakeside for holding such a fun VIP day! It’s moments like these that remind me just how exciting the blogging world is!
