March was unexpectedly busy! But I loved every second of it. For once I had too many photos and found it hard to condense them down! But here are my favourite parts…
1. Real Techniques Gel Brush Cleanser
I’ve been washing my makeup brushes for aaaaages with just baby shampoo, but on a recent shopping trip I picked up this gel cleanser and it’s worked miracles on my brushes! It gives them a much more intense clean. You can read my full review on the cleanser here!
2. Cocktails at CTZN, Chelmsford
I went to a turkish restaurant for lunch and drinks at the beginning of the month which was nice, it’s good to see people out of the work environment! The cocktails were delicious and of course, it made Happy Hour just that little more sweeter.
3. #MALIBUSQUAD
I’m now part of the #malibusquad! It was one of those “pinch myself” moments. They messaged me through Instagram and it was such a surprise! They sent me out their new cans of Strawberry & Kiwi Malibu. It’s fairly sweet and the strawberry is more prominent, but it’s basically summer in a can. Yum.
4. Sea Life London Aquarium, London Eye & TGIF
My friend Kayleigh and I wanted a super girly day so that’s exactly what we did at the start of March. We went into London and went to the Aquarium, (the penguins weren’t there this time though, sob) on the London Eye and a little shopping trip around Lush Oxford Street. We finished the day by going into M&M World, then spent the next 4 hours in TGI Fridays. Sorry not sorry.
5. London Has Fallen
There’s been some good films out this month and London Has Fallen is certainly one of them. I’ve not seen the previous Olympus one, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. It was intense throughout, with a few jumpy bits. The story line was fab too and I felt so involved with the film. It felt so close to home too seeing as I travel to London a fair amount. Scary stuff.
6. Lush Oxford Street Haul
I picked up a couple Easter bits in the flagship store, including the Exclusive Tweet Bubble Bar and the Bunch Of Carrots Bubble Bar – both of which I have reviewed and love very much!
7. Colchester Aqua Springs
I went to Aqua Springs in Colchester with Charlotte. We had a super chilled afternoon in the jaccuzis, steam rooms and saunas and finished up with a lovely pool side lunch. I’m so greatful to have made such a good friend through blogging to be able to do stuff like this! Love ya.
8. Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in Posie K
So I’ve jumped on the bandwagon and bagged myself Posie K. I absolutely LOVE it and you can read the full review here! I’ve got Koko and 22 on the way as well; I can’t wait to try them out and review them on Hannatalks this month.
9. Next Beauty Event
Another *pinch* myself moment. I was invited to the Next Beauty event in London to see the existing, current and new beauty products in Next’s beauty range. There was also 2 live tutorials from Youtube sensation Lydia Millen – who is an absolute BEAUT – and canapés and alcohol a plenty. I also finally met Laura & Pam, who are the loveliest ladies ever. You can read about the full event here.
10. Surprise Birthday Party
It’s been months in planning but it was pulled off perfectly! It was my Nan’s birthday this month and we all travelled to Somerset, (some came as far as Scotland!) to have a surprise lunch with family and friends. I actually felt quite teary when my Nan stepped through the store! It was a lovely day for everyone. And if you’re reading this Nanny… love you!
11. 10 Cloverfield Lane
I was SO excited to watch this film, but it was such a disappointment. The build up and the intensity of the film was amazing, with some really jumpy/scary parts, but the ending absolutely baffled me and made no sense whatsoever. If you enjoyed it though… Let me know!
12. Cadbury & Galaxy Haul
I couldn’t let these bad boys go this easter without stocking up on them! I love Golden Eggs and I’m gonna bloody miss them. Can they not be a permanent thing?? Sob.
I really wanted to watch that thriller, too bad the ending was disappointing 🙁
Loved meeting you gals!

I was at this place last week. This is such a joy as a place for food! I had a beautiful time here. These venues in Chicago reminded me of another center in Memphis, Tennessee. A beautiful, wonderful place that had excellent atmosphere.
