LUSH Oxford Street Haul

I had the pleasure of visiting the brand new LUSH flagship
store on Oxford Street in London last week, and I couldn’t help but pick a few things up!
There are over 200 brand new products in store, and a revamp of many much loved
products. The new store is spread out over 3 levels. The underground level is
home to the spa and a vast collection of perfumes and massage bars. I didn’t even realise
we could go down there, which I was super gutted about as I only
realised when I got home, but I’ve been told it’s amazing down there! The
street level is home to hand/body/feet/haircare and facial skincare, including face masks, makeup, soap and shower/dental products. The layout is open and airy, with plenty
of room to navigate round the various stands and budding LUSHies on hand to help out. The top floor is home to
bath products, brand new tote bags, gifts and a mini kitchen. There’s even a FUN area, where you can play and mould the FUN products – a must for anyone who loves creating things!

LUSH always play ridiculously good
songs and I was happy wandering around the store, popping things into my basket
whilst singing along to Jealous by Nick Jonas! All of the products that I
picked up are brand new, bar one, and are available exclusively to just the Oxford Street store.
So I 100% recommend you take a trip down there soon! I digress… here’s what I
picked up whilst I was there:

Little DragonNEW!

“When weariness threatens to drag on, put a little fire in your belly with this awakening cinnamon and ginger bubble bar. Filled with zingy spices to make your heart sing and warm you through to the core”

Little Dragon is a brand new reusable bubble bar to LUSH. This bubble bar caught my eye as it’s such a quirky little design! It’s in the shape of a Chinese dragon, well duh, and smells of an aromatic concoction of spiciness. I can definitely sniff out the ginger, but it’s subtly sweet. There’s a light glitter dusting over the top which gives it that extra special touch. Little Dragon retails at £3.75

FUN What A SoftyNEW!

“This limited edition gold FUN is scented with the comforting caramel fragrance of Honey I Washed The Kids”

FUN What A Softy is a brand new FUN bar to LUSH. I’ve never tried a FUN product before, but I was intrigued by this one by its sickly sweet caramel scent and its multiple uses. The packaging states that you can use it as: a body and hair wash, bubble bath, shower gel and even a product to wash clothes with! I ummed and arred a lot about picking up this product, but I’m glad that I did. The scent is rich and indulgent, and I’m looking forward to seeing what shapes I can make it into! Big kid over here. This FUN bar retails at £5.00

Granny Takes A DipNEW!

You may be familiar with Granny Takes A Dip, but it has now taken form as a bubble bar! (You can purchase it as a bath bomb online, but soon it will just be in bubble bar form). I see so many people, particularly on Instagram, post about this one and its bright colours had me intrigued. The bar contains ginger, lemon and pepper; something a little different to my usual sickly sweet options. Granny Takes A Dip retails at £3.65

Creamy Candy

“We’ve crammed all the indulgent goodness of a sweet shop into this pink, vanillary bar. Crush under running water to create candyfloss scented bubbles which smell good enough to eat”

Creamy Candy bubble bar is from the original range, so you can purchase this in any LUSH store/online, but I’ve never tried this one before so I added it to my basket! It shares the same smell with Snow Fairy (a christmas shower gel) and the Magic Wand (a christmas bubble bar). It has a very soft floral smell which feels really “girly”. Creamy Candy retails at £2.75

Pink FlamingoNEW!

“Birds of a feather bathe together! Slip into something more fruity with this cocktail-inspired reusable bubble bath, filled with fragrant rosewood and ylang ylang. Let the bubbly flow”

Pink Flamingo is also, you guessed it, a new bubble bar at LUSH! I was once again, attracted to this due to the fact it was flamingo shaped and a glowing neon pink. It has a soft floral scent with ripples of orange running through it. The stick feels a little flimsy so I’m a bit worried to use it in case it breaks off. Maybe it’ll just be a display piece… Pink Flamingo retails at £5.95

FurzeNEW!
“It might look prickly, but it’s bloomin’ lovely in the bath with an aramanth flower on top. Drop it in the bath to take a trip to English meadows scented with gorse bushes”

A brand new product at LUSH are the bath oils. They all cost just £2 and there’s a whole table dedicated to them on the top floor. They’re really small in size and feel slippery to touch. I found the majority of them had really over powering scents, so I sought out some help from a LUSHie who was on hand to help. I was intrigued on finding one with a coconut scent, and Furze was suggested to me. It looks like a little stuffing ball… but I’ve been told that the oil melts into the water and the flower floats on the top. Furze has a slightly herbal and coconut-style scent to it. Furze retails at just £2

I hope you’ve enjoyed my Oxford Street lush haul, I’m looking forward to trying them out to give a more in depth view 🙂
I’d 100% recommend that you take a trip to the flagship store!

These look lovely! There are only small one level Lush stores near me, and even in there I spend about 30 minutes browsing so I couldn't imagine myself in a Lush with 3 levels!

A LUSH STORE spread out over 3 levels, that sounds like heaven to me! Our Belgian Lush stores are so small and I don't come there very often as it's usually too crowded. So many new products, cannot wait to try them out!
