When I bought and reviewed the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue I left a cheeky little note at the bottom of the post saying I had bought the best “my lips but better” lipstick from Clinique.
So here it is! Melon Pop, the perfect shade for Spring time. I ordered Melon Pop after browsing through a few reviews and swatches. Melon Pop is a lovely peachy/coral shade from the Tawnies & Corals colour group. The finish is demi-matte and is so creamy and dreamy! It’s super easy to apply and feels so moisturising and soft. I’ve read the staying power is 8 hours, but I have to say I find myself reapplying it every 3-4 hours, I’d probably put that down to the fact the shade is fairly sheer in comparison to some other shades in the collection.
Cliniques new range of 16 lipsticks are called Pop Lip Colour and Primer; a luxurious primer and lippy all in one! Sweeeeeet. The packaging is fun and practical, the fact the base of the packaging is coloured makes it easy to differentiate between the other lippys lurking around in my makeup bag.
I have my eye on a few other shades, like Poppy Pop, Love Pop and Sweet Pop. Each shade retails at £16.00, which is on par with many other high-end brands!

I love the packaging – it's so modern! It's such a lovely colour too. I don't often think about Clinique past their blushers and chubby sticks. I may have a look at their lipsticks next time I'm in town!
