A couple of weeks ago I received an email from Aileen stating that I had won her 300 followers give away prize! I wasn’t expecting to win as over 250 people entered and I’m always unsuccessful in winning things – well not this time.
I received a cute little package, which contained: 2 Revlon Colourburst Laquer Balms in Vivacious and Coquette and 3 Maybelline The Colour Show nail varnish in Tutti Fruity, Green With Envy and Nebline. I made a loud “AWWWWWW” noise because the packaging was fun and the personal note was a lovely touch. I was particularly excited to try out the Revlon laquer balms as I’d heard positive things about them.
Having tried them out this week, I’m in love with the Coquette one as it’s a soft glittery pink colour and I love how easy it is to apply, it lasts a fairly long time too. I love the Vivacious one as well but the colour is a lot more intense and it’s better suited for evening time/going out – personal opinion, I’m too scared to wear bold colours in broad daylight yet!
I haven’t tried Maybelline nail varnish before so I was excited to try these 3. They’re gorgeous shades for Spring and I’m looking forward to wearing them. I especially love the pink as it has a shimmery finish and it’s something I wouldn’t usually go for.
