Manicure Monday #2 Pastel orange petals

I take major influence for my nails This week from Sharon at UTB for the elegant petal shapes. I’ve switched the colour up to Stage Dive from Topshop and used Sally Hansen white tip as it’s a strong white. I finish the look off with a glossy top coat. I’m eager for Spring to show it’s face, come on sun!!

Stage Dive is a pastel-orange colour with a glossy finish after two coats. The colour is a subtle orange but it’s ideal for letting Spring slowly creep into your life! Much like Sharon’s method, I applied 2 coats of Stage Dive on every finger except my ring fingers. I love leaving the ring fingers clear as I tend to use that as my statement nail. I cut a toothpick in half and dabbed it into the varnish, making small flowers using 4 dots.

Sally Hansen white tip is part of a set used to create a french manicure. I always rely on this varnish when I need something white as it’s a pure white and the fact it’s opaque means I only have to do 2 coats max! I made small flower patterns on my ring fingers and for the rest of my nails. A sleek coat of a clear top coat gave them a nice glossy finish.

How are you injecting a little Spring into your daily routine? x

Ooo orange! They look great. I'm wanting to find a pastel yellow nail vanish.
