I think finding new brunch spots in London is my new favourite hobby to have – and the Fries before Guys brunch at Tonight Josephine in Shoreditch is no exception!
I’m constantly perusing Time Out London and Secret London for cool things to do in London, and this girly brunch stood out for me and Jade almost instantly!
Brunch at Tonight Josephine
Dubbed as the ‘sassiest brunch in London’, Tonight Josephine is pink, girly and flamboyant, with pink neon signs, mirrored ceilings and glitter everywhere! We arrived early so we snapped some photos outside, then we were greeted by a big ‘Ou est la disco theque?’ neon sign which led down to the downstairs bar. We were seated by the bar and given a cocktail glass full of candyfloss – which was shortly topped up with some Prosecco. After that initial sweet cocktail, we knew that we were in for an absolute treat!
For the next hour, we were given bottomless cocktails. As soon as our empty glass hit the table, the bar staff would clear your table and arm you with another cocktail. I managed to drink around 9 cocktails in the space of an hour – they were just far too good to turn down!
The bar opened after an hour ready for more drinks to be purchased, and the food started flowing too. Our first course was a smoked salmon slider with scrambled eggs, followed by loaded bacon and cheese fries and waffles with fried chicken and maple syrup.
The food was great quality and tasted delicious too – I was worried the food would be a bit meh but it was actually really delicious.
It’s worth noting that the music was spot on – girl power tunes were blasted out for the duration of the brunch; including the likes of Beyoncé, Spice Girls and Little Mix!
It was a great girly brunch and would certainly be a popular choice for hen dos and parties. It’s a quite in-your-face brunch but it was great fun! The tickets were £30 each, which is well worth the money alone considering how quick they are to top up the drinks.

Aaah I didn’t know this place did brunch! I’ve always wanted to go but I know it gets super busy in the evenings so I’ve avoided it, definitely going to try and grab some food here soon though!
