September 2018: My Month in Photos

SEPTEMBER 2018 MY MONTH IN PHOTOS

September has been spent in Cyprus for a week, eating out and going to concerts! It’s time for my month in photos – here’s what I’ve been up to in September!

Sunrises and sunsets in Cyprus

The sunrises and sunsets in Cyprus were absolutely stunning! The sky had a beautiful pink and golden tinge to it every single morning and night – it’s one of the things I miss about Cyprus.

Traditional chicken kebab

During our family holiday to Cyprus, I pretty much lived on chicken kebabs and halloumi. Which worked out well for me seeing as I loved both so much!

Sunset cruise in Cyprus

Whilst in Cyprus, we booked a couple of excursions. One of which was a sunset cruise that lasted around 4 hours, where we were treated to a Mediterranean buffet, unlimited cocktails and two drop-off snorkelling points! I had the best evening and we got to watch the sun set on the boat which was beautiful.

Traditional Greek night

Another excursion we booked in Cyprus was a traditional Cypriot night. I’ll reveal more in my Cyprus travel guide, but we were picked up in a traditional chicken bus and headed out of town to an open-air tavern for a traditional Cypriot buffet, unlimited wine and traditional Cypriot and Greek dances. It was so much fun!

All the halloumi!

I literally ate halloumi in every form on holiday… sliced at breakfast, battered at buffets and wrapped in puff pastry with fig chutney! Can’t get enough of this cheese – how do you eat it?

Swimming in the Blue Lagoon

One of the stops on the sunset cruise was the Blue Lagoon; a beautiful cove with clear blue water and rocks. We were given snorkels on the trip and we swam around for half hour or so – I even spotted a lonesome fish! It was a fun experience and I can’t wait to go snorkelling again one day.

Breakfast spread

Aren;t holiday breakfasts just the best kind of breakfasts? For a week I ate a full english, fruit and yoghurt and chocolate pastries. It’s fair to say my Weetabix isn’t comparing!

Batting cages at Roof East

I went on a work night out in September to Roof East, for an evening in the batting cages and playing crazy golf. It was an eventful night but so much fun!

Dinner at Ask Italian

An evening spent in Ask Italian is an evening well spent! I love catching up with my best friend Alice there – and over amazing food.

Pale Waves at Shepherds Bush Empire

The first concert this month was Pale Waves at Shepherds Bush Empire. I went with James and we had a great evening – I enjoyed them live a lot more than I thought I would. And I bagged myself a cheeky tour t-shirt too!

Jason Derulo at SSE Arena Wembley

The second concert this month was Jason Derulo at the SSE Arena in Wembley. I went with my friends and we spent the afternoon shopping at Wembley outlet then eating and drinking at TGI Fridays. Jason Derulo was amazing live as per, and the show as a whole was just an incredible. I bought another tour t-shirt here too!

Lunch at London Steakhouse Company

I bought Dad a Red Letter Day experience last year for his birthday for a cocktail and 3-course meal at Marco Pierre White’s London steakhouse – and we finally got to do it this month! The food and cocktails were incredible and it was nice to go somewhere a little fancy – keep your eyes peeled for a review coming soon!

September has been a great month, filled with evening more driving lessons and fun things to do.

I’m seeing Michael McIntyre in October and I have my driving lesson – so wish me luck!

What did you get up to in September?

It’s such a beautiful place isn’t it? I’d love to go again one day. We’ve already booked our summer holiday to Crete next year so that’s something to look forward to 😀 x

Sounds like a corkin’ month! My September consisted of a weekend in Norfolk and a Danny baker gig. This month, I’ve got tickets to see The Blinders and Father John Misty as well as a couple of birthday celebrations for my mum and a family friend x
