I love hot drinks and I love something sweet; so thanks to Tetley, we can now have the best of both worlds!
Tea isn’t always my go-to beverage; I’m more of a soya-hot-chocolate-with-multiple-flavoured-shots-kinda-girl.
In fact, the only time I ever have tea is if a) I’m having afternoon tea and tea just tastes great with sweet cakes and treats or b) I have a peppermint tea after a meal as a palette cleanser to help me feel less bloated.
With that in mind, I trialled the new Tetley Indulgence Flavour Blends tea in spiced apple, cookies & cream, chocolate mint and gingerbread. This 180-year-old blend of tea has been used to create an exciting range of delicious blackteas with an indulgent flavoured twist.
Tetley Indulgence Flavour Blends Cookies & Cream
Tetley have taken the delicious flavours of biscuits and cream and blended it together to create a black tea that tastes like actual cookies – I’d even go so far as to say it smells just like Maryland Cookies! Each cup has just 2 calories, so it’s a deliciously sweet treat that doesn’t feel naughty in the slightest.
Tetley Indulgence Flavour Blends Spiced Apple
The spiced apple tea is just a big cup of cosiness; it’s a great little drink for when you need something to instantly warm you up and give you a little boost.
Tetley Indulgence Flavour Blends Chocolate Mint
When it comes to mint chocolate, I’m not the biggest fan in the world. The only mint chocolate combination I love is After Eight, so I was a bit skeptical in trying this flavour. But, I was pleasantly surprised! The black tea has a zingy mint flavour with some underlying dark chocolate tones. It’s a really freshing blend that isn’t too minty.
Tetley Indulgence Flavour Blends Gingerbread
Gingerbread is probably one of my least favourite smell/taste, but this gingerbread tea was actually bearable! Again, it’s a warming and comforting tea blend for when you need a little pick-me-up.
Each Tetley Indulgence Flavour blend is made with the finest Kenyan black tea, which can be enjoyed with or without milk. I hadn’t tried it with milk as I believe a herbal tea doesn’t need added milk or sugar – but let me know if you try it with milk!
All of the Tetley Indulgence Flavour Blends are £1.99 a box for 20 tea bags. Available from Asda and Ocado in March 2017.
For someone that isn’t a massive tea drinker, I’ve really enjoyed these new sweet tea blends. My favourite blend has to be the cookies and cream one; I love how subtly sweet the tea is and how much it smells just like biscuits. Which one would you like to try?
These sound awesome! I would like to try the mint chocolate one! Great post again Hanna!
I actually don’t drink tea but I have been wanting to get into it for the longest time! I ried a few but didn’t end up loving them… These blends sound great though! Such unique tea blend flavours!
The blends sound really interesting. I like trying new types of tea and I would love to try these too, especially cookie and cream. I will look in Asda for them. x
I love flavoured teas now! That spiced apple one sounds so me. I’ve been loving cherry Bakewell and salted caramel teas!
When it comes to tea, I tend to stick to a classic Yorkshire Tea, chai tea or peppermint and liquorice but there’s sooo many flavours out there! The Cookies and Cream blend sounds so indulgent

Cookies & Cream speaks to me on an emotional level ❣️
I don’t like tea but that spiced apple flavour has got me really tempted to give it a go ❤️
Wow, I didn’t even know this kind of thing existed!!! So many amazing flavours out there!
Oh my goodness, these sound incredible!! Especially the gingerbread one!

Every single one of these sounds INSANE. I’m a big fan of herbal, fruit and flavoured teas, so these are right up my street. I’m mostly intrigued by the mint chocolate one – it’s difficult to imagine an After Eight flavoured tea! I’m definitely going to have to give these a go.
