August: My Month In Photos

I’ve bagged myself a new job, applied for apprenticeships and had a good summery month – so here’s what I’ve been up to in August…

1. Pandora Bracelet

I treated myself to a double leather pandora bracelet and palm tree charm when I was out in Tenerife. I love wearing it and it’ll forever remind me of Tenerife and how good the holiday was!

2. Turtle Bay Chelmsford Opening Night

I was invited along to the Turtle Bay opening in Chelmsford at the beginning of the month and had a fab evening. I tried plenty of Jamaican food and cocktails, and enjoyed listening to the in-house band too!

3. My First Ever Football Match!

The BF loves football so I went to my first ever football match with him! We watched the Liverpool V Barcelona game and the atmosphere was exciting. We had a hot dog and chilled watching the game.

4. Oreo Doughnuts @ Camden Market

I found a little market stall in Camden market that sold oreo doughnuts and omg, they were so good! They weren’t as sickly as I was expecting them to be thankfully, but it had the perfect balance of softness and crunch. I can’t wait to have them again.

5. Camden Beach

I spent an evening with my friend at Camden Beach and it had such a lovely, chilled out vibe. We went whilst happy hour was on, so we enjoyed a couple of cocktails in the evening sunshine! I’m looking forward to going to this next year as well, it had such a lovely chilled out vibe and it would be nice to make a day of it!

6. Birdies Crazy Rooftop Golf

Addicted to crazy golf? Me? Course not… I went to the Birdies rooftop crazy golf in Stratford for the evening with the BF and had a fab time. The course was good fun and a little challenging, and the view just made it 100x better. London looks so beautiful at night!

7. Yogland Froyo

I bloody love froyo. I gave Yogland a go this month, and had: vanilla froyo, strawberries, oreos and pistachio sauce. The best combo yet!

8. Junkyard Golf London

It’s a good job I have a BF that’s as addicted to crazy golf as me, eh? I went back to Junkyard Golf this month but tried out the Frank course this time. The Frank course was actually pretty tough, involving navigating down a slide, over a table and onto a snooker game. Good fun though!

9. Broxbourne Wildlife Park

I’m yet to post the photos, but I had a lovely day out at Broxbourne zoo looking at all the animals and, of course, managed to find a crazy golf course to play.

10. Wagamama

I introduced my BF to the world of Wagamama and I’m so glad that he loved it so much! Can’t go wrong with gyozas and a Katsu curry, can ya?!

11. Surprise Flowers

Answering the door to surprise flowers is the best feeling ever. I just want these beautiful roses to last forever and ever and ever, Pls.

12. V Festival

I had a fab weekend at V Festival with the gals and I can’t wait for next year! David Guetta was amazing and I just love seeing that guy perform! I was covered in glitter the whole weekend and despite the awful weather, had the best time dancing and singing!

So, August has been a busy one!

I’m going to Brighton and I hope to secure an apprenticeship by the end of the month.

 What are your plans?
