Saturated Colour Cosmetics Essex Bloggers Event

I’ve been a super naughty blogger. This post was due to go up in May. *slaps wrist*

But you know when time just gets caught up with you and suddenly you find yourself working full time, with no free time for yourself or motivation?

THAT.

But it’s back now. YAY

 

So back in May, I was invited to the Saturated Colour bloggers event.

Saturated Colour is a family run business based in Stock, Essex, who produce make-up products that are 100% vegan and naturally made.

The day started by having a little mingle with other Essex bloggers and sipping on cocktails, basking in the seriously hot weather we had at the beginning of May!

We were given a mini talk on Saturated Cosmetics, how the brand started, where they get inspiration for their products, why they love what they do. It was just a really lovely atmosphere and vibe.

We were split into teams and given a little challenge each, to create a lip look with the kits they had provided us with.

I’m not overly ambitious when it comes to creating lip designs, I love a good basic pink or red shade, but it was good to be out of my comfort zone a bit and use my imagination!

I went for a slightly ombré look using a red lipstick and red lip gloss in the shade ‘Lady In Red’. Which is bloody gorgeous and such a me shade!

Everyone got given their very own personalised goody bag which was a lovely touch. The ladies at S.C checked out each of our Instagrams to see what kind of products we were in to. They got mine spot on – a gorgeous nudey pink in the shade ‘Birthday Suit’.

Vita Coco also sponsored the event so I’ve got a lovely little tub of the coconut goodness to slather into my hair. Yassssssss.
