Little Update!

Oops. Hannatalks took a back seat again which makes me super sad…

Do you ever get moments where you’re like, oh my god I bloody love blogging and I want to make something out of it, to suddenly feeling so distant from it all and unwilling to log on and see how it’s going… weird, huh? May has been super busy for me work wise. I’m working full time now but the hours are so erratic, on my days off I’m usually just sleeping in prep for my next shift.

I’ve been to a couple of blog events this month, and bought a few beauty products that I’d love to blog about. I have about 6 posts in the pipe line that need posting and I hate that feeling where you know you need to blog but you just aren’t feeling it. I’ve got a post on a fab Vichy foundation and powder, Forza weightloss shake and a day out at the Zoo to blog… cos I’m loving my PEN right now and can’t wait to use it some more.

I want, and need, to find some sort of routine that suits me. I’d love to blog 3 times a week, have scheduled tweets and posts, and engage with comments on twitter and Instagram… but I just can’t find the time. If there’s any apps or sites you use to organise tweets etc, or you have some tips on staying organised with your blog, then please do let me know cos girl stressing out over here.

The pictures are so pretty, love the flowers! πŸ™‚ I've been a bit off when it comes to my blog lately too, as I've been having exams and deadline but hopefully I'll get into the routine of blogging a bit more often now that I have more time! x

Blogging should ultimately be about you, so if you don't feel like blogging, don't feel pressured to get something out for sure! Do what you can when you can, people understand πŸ™‚ especially seeing as your main source of income is your full time job as well. I've recently discovered buffer as a tweet scheduler, on the free version you can schedule up to 10 posts (which works for me and is what I use) but I believe the premium paid service has unlimited, I may be wrong on that but it's MORE than enough to be getting on with, haha! It's definitely useful, even with just 10, you should check it out for sure. Keep happy πŸ™‚

Oh man I'm feeling the same struggle. The past two months I've been stressed about not blogging as much yet not feeling motivated to go and do it! Just like with anything else in my life I need to get back in the routine! Once out of it it's hard to get back!

Try not to add pressure to yourself, your blog is yours! My advice especially when your busy is try to work a week ahead; schedule some time in your week to sit down and write three posts for the following week, use a schedule twitter app like hoot suite or buffer to schedule tweets and add instagram posts on the way to work/home or in the evening. I hope this helps πŸ™‚ xx

I get up early on one of my days off a week and shoot all my blog pics in bulk, then climb back into bed and edit them. I find that's the part that takes the most time and energy, but that way it's done all in one morning. Also, don't be afraid to use a few stock images and create simple posts like lists and round-up posts; they're so quick and easy to put together and that way you're sticking to your blog schedule but with minimal effort! I'd also suggest using Buffer to schedule your tweets, so you don't have to spend hours promoting your posts! If all else fails, get a new job with more stable hours πŸ˜‰ Love these pics btw, sooo pretty!xxx

It's awful feeling like you don't have the time to blog, I've been the same this month as well! I'm sure you'll get back into the swing of it soon!
