Molton Brown Autumn Candles

Molton Brown isn’t a brand I’ve tried before but I’m always ooh-ing and ahh-ing over their bath products on Instagram. On a recent trip to Freeport I visited Molton Brown and certainly didn’t leave empty handed…

I don’t own any candles so I really wanted to treat myself to some uplifting Autumn ones to fill my room on those evenings where I need a little TLC and me-time. After much sniffing and deliberation, I decided on two candles, a Patchouli & Saffron Single Wick Scented Candle one and a Oudh Accord & Gold Single Wick Scented Candle one.

Originally, these candles retail at £36.00 each which is a pretty hefty price tag considering it’s just a candle. But, the scents truly are gorgeous. And what’s even better, for a bargain hunter like moi, the Freeport Molton Brown is an outlet so everything is discounted. I managed to pick these candles up for £30 – £15 each – so a fraction of the original price. They are beautifully packaged in sturdy boxes with super cute patterns on. Each one comes with a little booklet too on information about your candle, as well as health and safety guidelines of course.

The Patchouli & Saffron Single Wick Scented Candle is a gorgeous deep purple candle, packed with berry, bergamot, rose and saffron. The Oudh Accord & Gold Single Wick Scented Candle is a gorgeous golden candle, packed with cinnamon oil, nutmeg oil, black tea and honey. I think I’ll get more use out of the gold one as the scent isn’t too over powering and I’d be happy just chilling in my room with that burning in the background.

I already have my eye on a few of the Christmas gift sets – I’m definitely going to treat myself to some of them next pay day!

Have you tried Molten Brown candles before?

Eek those are some expensive candles! But if they are a good smell, it's hard to resist right??

These candles are gorgeous, maybe a little out of my price range (Primark candles are my one true love) but they'd certainly make a lovely present to someone. The scents sound incredible! x

I think the gold sounds like the one I would enjoy using more also! And what a bargain you got there, I dont think I would have paid 36 each, so 15 is a hell of a lot better!
