*Paul Mitchell Super Skinny© range

I was lucky enough to win a competition on Twitter last week aaaaaand the prize was this Paul Mitchell Super Skinny range gift set! The competition was held via a twitter chat between Lookfantastic.com and Paul Mitchell, and you had to tweet them your hair SOSs and they would tweet back recommending what products would combat it. I tweeted asking how to combat frizzy/curly hair, especially when the weather is really humid and damp. They recommended the Super Skinny range, and I was fortunate enough to win the skinny set.

The kit contains *Super Skinny Daily Shampoo, *Super Skinny Daily Treatment and *Super Skinny Relaxing Balm. I used to use all three of these a couple years back at a hairdressers but have since changed hairdressers. I get on really well with the products and they are certainly controlling fly aways and keeping my frizz at bay! None of the products have any “nasties” in which can weigh down hair. Instead, they’re packed with colour-safe formulas which cleanse and smooth the hair, making the hair softer and more manageable. The Super Skinny Complex and mild surfactants cleanse hair without stripping or plumping it, too! The drying time is also dramatically lessened – don’t ask how, but my hair drys a hell of a lot faster! Win win.

This is a special pack to celebrate 35 years of Paul Mitchell and for each special edition pack that’s purchased, a percentage of the money will be donated towards Pancreatic cancer. Paul Mitchell are a vegan and cruelty free brand who pride themselves in supporting and helping environmental projects and a variety of charities. They’re also involved in Sea Shepards, where they went to Japan and helped to save over 10,000 baby seals from the seal hunt. In 2005, co-founder John Paul DeJoria agreed to have his ponytail cut off (his signature do’) and raised $50,000 to donate to the Red Cross to help the Tsunami relief effort. A pretty remarkable company if I do say so myself!

They are currently running a campaign, with every twitter post and Instagram post posted with the hashtag #GIVINGISMYSTYLE $1 will be donated to their favourite non-profits. So make sure to get involved!

These look brilliant! My hair is horribly frizzy and curly! I use B&B Blow-dry Straight to get rid of my natural hairs frizzy state xD
