I’m meeting you guys on the other side of Easter! Hope you had a good one filled with plenty of chocolate and treats. I’m still in a food induced coma trying to psych myself up for work today – totally not my fault. My mum, (I know you read my blog from time to time so hiiiiiiiiii) made my sister and I an Easter bag each, filled with Cadbury & Lindt goodies, and a wind up bunny. I’m 19 and it’s totally a-ok with me. I thought I had outgrown the chocolate receiving stage so I spent £11 in Tesco on Easter eggs, £11, only to find out mum was going to surprise us with some Easter Sunday. Damn. We had a roast lamb dinner, with all the trimmings, food heaven. I spent the rest of the evening relaxing in a bath with Hoppity Poppity – a bath bomb from LUSH, part of the limited edition Easter range. I was a little disappointed as it didn’t do much once I put it into the bath. It fizzed, whilst little bits of green popping candy set off at the bottom of the tub. It did however leave a peppery, fresh scent to my skin which I later warmed to. It was a perfect way to round off Easter! I also whipped up some creme egg brownies earlier in the day so we all settled down with one of those each. Time to burn off some calories running around at work. Retail. Need I say anymore!
How did you spend your Easter weekend?
It sounds like you have a lovely Easter weekend, Hannah! An Easter themed bubble bath sounds especially perfect, even if Hoppity Poppity was a little underwhelming. I'm 25 and I still get an Easter goodie bag from my mum – mums are the best!
Also, a little jealous of your Creme Egg brownies – I made these last weekend and they looked so tasty in the baking tray, but when I tried to cut them up and put them on plates they completely fell apart! They still tasted good though which I guess is what matters!

Sounds like you had a wonderful Easter, all the food looks amazing (and I love those Creme Egg Brownies). You know, I did nothing really over Easter. I didn't get any Easter Eggs, I just went to the cinema and enjoyed the break from work.Sarah xo | PolkaDotLemon
It's rubbish that you need to work on Easter Monday but it sounds as though you had a really nice relaxing day yesterday. I loved Hoppity Poppity, he is quite a simple bunny though. Those Creme Egg brownies look absolutely delicious too!! 🙂 xxx

I did the same as you – bought myself an egg because Mum wasn't going to them she surprised me with one…Sounds like you had a lovely day! xo
That sounds really lovely! I had lunch with my boyfriend's family and then my boyfriend, my brother and my brother's girlfriend went to the cinema 🙂

Mine was filled with chocolate! It was also my older brothers birthday, so we had cake, cheesecake, cupcakes my sister made, and ice cream. All chocolate of course! I devoured everything with no shame. Glad you had a great Easter

Sounds like the perfect Easter really, although I am not too jealous of the lamb being a veggie, but the chocolate would be most welcomed!
