Never have I felt so attached to a foundation before that has 101 benefits for my combination skin. After a short consultation with Clinique, I found out about my skin woes which I never even knew I had! I have some dry patches, open pores on my nose, redness on my cheeks and an oily t-zone. From a range of 20 shades, I was matched up to 02 Alabaster Stay-Matte Oil-Free foundation. The product boasts that it provides a “mattifying finish” and “addresses oil breakthrough”, amongst other beneficial qualities. I would 100% back up these bold statements as I have noticed a massive difference over the past month.
At £22 a pop for the 30ml tube, it’s on the expensive side but certainly worth it. A little goes a long way; once the gel-cream texture is either buffed or applied into the skin it provides all day coverage and controls the shine on my t-zone. I needn’t worry about my red patches either, the formula has calmed my skin down an incredible amount which means I now only apply it on areas that flare up, as opposed to my whole face.
As someone who objects anything liquid or moose based, I have been completely converted. A Clinique newbie, excited to try out the rest of their range!
Love the sound of this – especially as my skin has a tendency to go really shiny throughout the day!

Thank you for the review! It sounds wonderful! x
This sounds great – I use Estee Lauder Double Wear but could be tempted to try something new, especially as it's targeted for oily skin.

My housemate used this foundation and we had the same skin colour so I borrowed it a few times. I really loved it but I prefer my MAC still.
