Can you believe this is the last day of 2018?! I honestly can’t believe how quick this year has flown by! I’ve had a great month, filled with exciting days out, making memories with friends and enjoying a relaxing Christmas at home with my family.
It’s time for my final month in photos post – here’s what I’ve been getting up to this month!
Personalised Nutella jar
I’ve always wanted a personalised Nutella jar, so I was excited to see a personalised printing station in my local Debenhams. Once I’ve made my way through the huuuuuge jar, I’ll clean it out and use it as a stand for my makeup brushes or for cotton pads.
Silent disco at The Shard
My friend celebrated her 23rd birthday this month with a silent disco at the Shard. It was one of the best nights out I’ve had in a long time! Silent discos are so much fun; one minute you’re dancing to chart music and the next you’re singing your heart out to Frozen! The night ended with a Conga at the top of the Shard, an evening I won’t forget for a very long time!
Bailey’s pop up bar
Jade and I went along to the Bailey’s Christmas pop up in Covent Garden to try out their incredible drinks! We went for a boozy Bailey’s hot chocolate, loaded with ALL the toppings. It was the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had!
Christmas at Covent Garden
The same night, Jade and I walked around Covent Garden to snap some Christmassy photos. We got some photos by the iconic old car stacked high with parcels, and of the gigantic baubles and mistletoe in the market.
Work Christmas do
I had the best Christmas work do this year; we all went to Barleylands for their Best Party Ever event! We had a delicious 3-course meal, live entertainment, drinks and dozens of trips to the dodgems!
An evening at Winter Wonderland
I absolutely love visiting Winter Wonderland during December; it really gets me in the mood for Christmas! It’s fun, tacky and exiting – with plenty of rides to go on and alllll the street food to enjoy. We went on a ride, ate the best mac n’ cheese then found a Photo Booth and snapped a cute photo.
Cocktails at the Alchemist
I had the best girly day with my friend Chloe – we headed to the Alchemist for dinner and cocktails, Sushi Samba for drinks then got the tube over to Clapham Common to look around Winterville. We had the best girly day in London!
Christmas tree decorations
Our tree looked lovely this year, with cute baubles and trinkets. ❤️
Boxing Day sale buys
I never usually bother shopping around in the Boxing Day sales, but I’ve treated myself to a fair few bits this year! I treated myself to a couple of jackets from Next, perfume from Boots and Christmas bits from the Body Shop.
Backyard Cinema at Winterville, Clapham Common
I have never seen Love Actually before (shocking huh?!) but I went to the Backyard Cinema at Winterville with Chloe to watch it and we had the cutest evening. We had hot mulled cider, sweets and popcorn, with comfy bean bag chairs to watch the film on! It was so much fun there, I’d love to go again next year.
Hot chocolates at Winter Wonderland
I’m a big hot chocolate fan, and the one’s at Winter Wonderland didn’t disappoint this year!
Festive afternoon tea
I went for festive afternoon tea with my friend Jade at the Nobu hotel in Shoreditch. It was a lovely post-Christmas treat, and a lovely way to see out 2018!
What have you been up to this month? I can’t wait for 2019 – here’s to a happy and healthy one!
What a busy month. I wanted to get some things on sale from the Body Shop, but it was closed when I got there, stopping for some mulled wine might have had its downside. Happy New Year! xx
