November has been a busy month and I am SO excited to book Christmassy days out once December has arrived! Here are my top Instagram moments in November! 🙂
Bonfire cupcakes
I put my creative hat on during November and made these adorable little bonfire cupcakes! They were easy to make and delicious eat, so I wonder what I’ll be baking for Christmas…
Brunch at Chop Bloc
I was invited to Chop Bloc this month to review their revamped Brunch menu. I had the brioche breakfast bun with hash browns and it was SO GOOD! If you live in Essex, I’d definitely recommend a visit here!
Firework night
It’s a tradition that we go to Admirals firework night each year, so we all bundled up in our warm clothes and watched a fantastic firework show! This year it was themed around 80s music, with some great singalong songs. We headed home after for footlong hotdogs with crispy onions and nachos so yep, living my best life.
Costa Christmas drinks
I am loving the Costa Christmas drinks this year – particularly the Billionaire’s hot chocolate! Although I read how many calories are in that sweet, chocolate y drink but… it’s Christmas and all that, so we can live a little!
Vineyard trip with Visit Essex
I was invited on a press trip with Visit Essex to tour a range of vineyards in Essex. I didn’t realise just how many there were in the county, and the amount of wine we produced, so it was a real eye opener! The day was spent drinking wines and beers, eating delicious food and meeting some really lovely South East bloggers.
Somerset carnival
I went to Somerset with James this month for a weekend of visiting family and to enjoy the fantastic carnival! We were rained off sadly, but what we saw of the carnival was fantastic. The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing and eating all the delicious pub food!
Swapping turkey for seafood at Loch Fyne
Loch Fyne invited me along to their Chelmsford branch to see if I could swap turkey for seafood this Christmas, as part of their #fishtivities campaign. I had a fab evening with my parents, eating incredible seafood dishes and trying something new. Would I swap my turkey for fish this year? I possibly would! But I would definitely still need all those delicious trimmings that go with the turkey…
Leek mac’ n cheese with a twist
I’m working on a post with Mr Crumb for next month and I came up with a delicious leek mac n’ cheese dish with crumbled stuffing on top to give it a nice crunch! Keep your eyes peeled for the recipe soon!
Christmas shopping
I’ve done a *tiny* but of Christmas shopping so far, mainly thanks to the Black Friday sales! I’m hoping to get my Christmas shopping out of the way ASAP so I can enjoy Christmassy days out!
Starbucks Christmas drinks
I tried the fudge hot chocolate and omg – need I say anymore? THE BEST THING EVER. Ever.
Crowne Plaza Hotel in Colchester
I was invited to the beautiful Crowne Plaza for an overnight stay, dinner and breakfast. My review will be doing live next week but we had a fantastic stay. The staff are super friendly, food super delicious and the facilities perfect. I can’t wait to go back to check out their spa facilities!
Dinner at Banana Tree
Banana Tree has recently opened in Chelmsford so I was invited to check out what they have to offer. I went with Dad and we ordered an array of delicious indochinese dishes. I can’t wait to visit again for their incredible banana fritters!
November has been busy and exciting and once again, full of food!
I’m looking forward to December as I have a few Christmassy outings planned, Christmas shopping to do and a Christmas break to Prague to see the Christmas markets, yay!
What are your plans for December? 🙂
Sounds like such a lovely month! That vineyard trip sounds like a lot of fun – I always forget that they actually exist in the UK too haha! I’d love to visit one one day. xx

A super busy month again – I always seem to plan things last minute!
I really want to try Chop Bloc! It sounds really stupid but I have heard they do veggie options?
They do a great veggie burger- which sounds a bit dull but it’s soooo good!

I’m always looking on Pinterest for recipe ideas for Christmas things! 🙂
The billionaires hot chocoate is sooo good! Although, it’s definitely very sweet and I had a bit of a headache after that haha.
