November: My Month In Photos

November: My Month In Photos

I say this every month but November has just flown by, Autumn came and went in the blink of an eye!

I’ve had a fairly busy month, with a blogging event and various trips to London! I’ve also settled into my new Digital Marketing apprenticeship and I’m really enjoying it. Here’s the lowdown on what I’ve been up to on Instagram this month:

1. Las Iguanas Bahian Coconut Chicken

Last month I caught up with a friend and we went to Las Iguanas at Westfield in Stratford. The meal was so delicious and I’m craving it all again! It was a delicious chicken thigh, cooked in a coconut and garlic sauce, with fluffy white rice and sauted greens. It tasted amazing!

2. Dinner at Chop Bloc

Again, another trip from last month but the steak was just unbelievable. Chop Bloc hosted an amazing bloggers event and the food and cocktails were just incredible there. Hopefully I can book a trip there in the New Year for my 21st!

3. No7 make-up haul

I love No7 and there’s no hiding away from that. I popped into Boots at Westfield in Stratford just for a mascara, and out I walked with £50 worth of makeup I don’t neccessarily need but LOOK HOW PRETTY THE PACKAGING IS. Especially the bronzer, the rose gold packaging caught my eye straight away.

4. Costa Coffee orange hot chocolate

I’m loving the Costa christmas drinks this year but I’m gutted fudge hot chocolate didn’t make a comeback. Instead, I’ve been enjoying the orange hot chocolate. I’m not usually a great fan of chocolate and orange together but this is the perfect sweet treat on a cold morning!

5. Bonfire Night

I went to my local firework display for Bonfire Night and had such a lovely time. I loved bunding up in all the layers and snuggling up to watch them. I really wanted to use sparklers when I got home but everytime we put a flame towards the sparkler, it put the flame out…

6. Intu Lakeside #intuVIB Christmas Event

I was invited to the Intu Lakeside Christmas event which was such good fun. We sipped on hot chocolate, had a little skate on the newly built ice rink and received a lovely little goodie bag. Intu Lakeside throw the best blogging events!

7. Booked a Holiday to Budapest

I’m going to Budapest – YAAAAAAAY! We’ve booked a long weekend to Budapest in the new year, a week after my birthday FYI, and I’m so excited already. I want to check out the Szechenyi thermal baths and the Ruin pubs. And the local food. And the river cruise. Basically everything. I wonder how much we can pack into the 4 day trip.

8. Bill’s Restaurant in Chelmsford

We finished an hour early at work on a Friday so I met my Mum in town for dinner at the brand new Bill’s restaurant in Chelmsford. We had the most delicious buttermilk chicken burger and fluffy sweet potato fries. I can’t wait to take another trip back to try out the breakfast and brunch.

9. Winter Wonderland in London

Winter Wonderland is celebrating its 10th year this year and they’ve definitely stepped it up a gear in terms of rides, attractions, shows, eateries and bars! I went last week and I’m definitely feeling SUPER festive now.

10. Baubles from Liberty in London

I had a Christmassy day with James, we checked out all the christmas lights in London (blog post to follow soon!) and ventured into Liberty. I’ve never been before, but it was absolutely beautiful. It probably wasn’t the best time to go on a Saturday at 4pm because it was absolutely rammed, but we explored the six floors and oohed and ahhed at all the designer bags and clothes. We did however buy 2 super cute baubles to decorate the Christmas tree with!

11. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

I’ve heard good reviews (and some not so good reviews) about Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, so I decided to go see it for myself. Overall, I really enjoyed the film. The plot was fairly easy to follow, and I liked that it had some dry humourous parts in amongst the darkness of it. The thing that stood out to me the most however were the special effects and CGI. I’m SO glad I saw it in the cinema, it made it even more special! I ate sweet popcorn and tried the new Tango iceblast flavour, Sour Red Grape. It’s limited edition and tasted amaaaaaazing.

12. James 💗💗💗💗

I’m happy to have done SO much with James this month. It’s the best feeling being with someone who wants to get out and do things! Also I’m super excited for Christmas because he’s already bought and wrapped the presents and put them in a personalised stocking with my name on. CUTE OR WHAT?!

Alongside this, I also managed to squeeze a trip to Borough market, my local christmas lights switch on and I upgraded to the new iPhone 7! No wonder I’ve been left with pennies BUT it’s pay day today – yay! Oh, and I gave my blog a *tiny* little update yesterday. It was in desperate need of some colour and I feel like the blue and purple have spruced it up a little bit!
