Lush Halloween Monsters Ball

I love Lush, and I absolutely love writing about Lush. Here’s a little review of Monsters Ball, the perfect bath bomb for the wintery nights ahead…

The Halloween range this year didn’t really wow me but I had to pick up some bits nevertheless.

I loved last years Halloween range, my absolute favourite was the Sparkly Pumpkin last year. I loved the vibrant orange pumpkin sprinkled in glitter. It’s packed with juniper berry, lime and grapefruit oils which was so zesty and relaxing. The glitter did coat the bath and it was super hard to srub off BUT it was a small price to pay for such a relaxing bath.

I thought I’d bypass the Sparkly Pumpkin this year and try something new out. So out of the ones I bought, I thought I’d try out Monsters Ball first!

Monsters Ball scent is a revamp and reformulated version of an older bath bomb called The Enchanter. Packed with lashings of lime and neroli oil, to uplift and protect, olibanum oil to relax and fair trade cocoa butter to soften and condition.

Not only is this limited edition bath bomb shaped like a pink cyclops, but the colours it produces in the water are beautiful and definitely get me excited for the winter months ahead.

As soon as it comes in contact with the water, it immediately begins to fizz and froth. Pink, green and blue swirls surface on the water creating swirls, intertwined with milky white frothy bubbles.

It has a lovely little surprise inside too, with popping candy gently popping and fizzing in the water.

As the bath bomb gets smaller, the swirls reveal a deep, rich purple bath water underneath. Similar to the shade of the Twilight Shower Gel.

The centre piece of Monsters Ball is made from cocoa butter, it slowly melts into the bath water and releases little beads of oil that add moisture of the water. It’s not enough to make the water feel greasy, it just makes the skin feel super soft.

I loved the colour combination, how soft my skin felt and the gorgeous colour the bath turned. I would’ve loved for the scent to linger around for a little longer, though.

I highly recommend stocking up on a couple of these for the winter months ahead! I can’t wait to check out the Christmas range, too.

What’s your favourite Lush Halloween product this year?

I`m addicted to Lush, especially this time of the year. I absolutely love their Christmas collection and I always buy 5-6 bottles of Snow Fairy as soon as I see it in store.

I'm so glad I bought a bath bomb from Lush a couple of days ago. I've never tried bath bombs but my boyfriend gave me a gift card so I thought I'd try it out. :]
