September: My Month In Photos

Little ol’ September has been kind to me. A trip to Brighton, a super cool blogging event and why I’ve become an Instagram recluse…

I haven’t been the best at documenting things this month – I need to be snap happy again!

But yno when you get so caught up in work, and mundane life stuff?

You just kinda become a recluse. And that’s me this month!

So here’s a much shorter snippet of what I’ve been up to this month…

1. Eton Mess Cheesecake At Pizza Express

I had a girly day at the cinema and Pizza Express with my friend Grace – and I had the most delicious slice of eton mess cheesecake, ever! Sadly I have a feeling that it was just a summer addition to the menu… but it was the most delicious concoction of fruit and meringue and biscuit!

2. Brighton Pier

I had a couple days off in a row at my new job and myself and J decided to book a little trip to Brighton! Neither of us had been before but we were super excited to go. You can read about the trip here but we crammed so much into 48 hours. I loved it there, it was so chilled out and relaxing and we found the best cocktail bars. I can’t wait to visit again!

3. Brighton i360

One of the things we did whilst in Brighton was visit the i360. Tickets were pretty cheap, at about £15 each for a 20 minute journey, and the views were gorgeous! We picked such a beautiful day to do it, too. I’d love to visit again for a night time trip.

4. #noonetoldme TENA Ladies X Champney Event

I was Laura’s +1 at the Champney X TENA Ladies event in Tamworth and I had such an amazing time. We made the 2 hour train journey early sunday morning, and were greeted at Champneys with champagne and food. You can read here what I got up in the afternoon! This was by far the best blogger event I’ve been to. I had so much fun!

5. Outdoor Yoga

Yoga isn’t something I’ve ever tried, but I enjoyed the outdoor yoga we did as part of the TENA X Champneys blogger event! I ached so much it was unreal. I literally couldn’t make it up or down the stairs. It’s a sure sign that I need to my ass back into gear!

6. Champney Treats

You can’t go to a Champneys spa without treating yourself – surely?! I treated myself to a Champneys bubble bath and dry oil. I’ve used the bubble bath a couple times now and it smells and feels SO good. I love a good soak in a hot bath!

I’ve also been to the cinema a few times this month. Bad Moms was a lovely girly film with some funny bits. The Girl With All The Gifts was good too, not something I’d normally watch. Very zombie-y!

I’ve had a lot more chilled out days this month with J, and having snug movie nights in.

But this month I was confirmed onto a Digital Marketing and SEO apprenticeship which I’m super excited to start at the end of October!

I’m one more month closer to seeing The 1975 for the 5th time and I CAN’T. FLIPPING. WAIT.

And much to J’s excitement, I’ve started my trainer collection. I now own 2 pairs of Nikes and some Vans – in the space of 2 days!

Fingers crossed to a more productive October!
