April, where the heck did you go?? It’s been mostly work and no play for me this month, but I have managed to treat myself to a few new beauty items…
1. Lush Easter ‘Tweet’ Bubble Bar
This little fella has been my go-to bath accompaniment this month. It’s a citrus scented bubble bar that creates mounds of soft bubbles. This little chap is limited edition to the Oxford Street store only, and an Easter addition! But I hope they bring it back in another form. You can read my full review on him here.
2. No7 Nail Varnish
I’m still absolutely loving this Glitz and Glamour nail varnish set that I treated myself to back in January. The Deep Wine shade has been a fav of mine this month!
3. Kylie Lip Kit in Koko
Has the obsession ended? I don’t think so. So I received two this month, the first being Koko. I never wear nudes so I was a little worried about trying this on, but it turns out to be a super gorgeous dusty pink shade. I love it for day to day wear, it’s such a wearable shade! 4. Lush Mask Of Magnaminty
I’ve always got a blemish on my face and it bugs me to no end. After a few google searches, I noticed Lush Mask of Magnaminty was a firm favourite in combating these skin woes. I use it once a week and it seems to be helping to keep my skin calm! You can read the full review here.
5. Family Polaroids
For my mum’s birthday this month we went to Miller & Carter for a family meal and took these polaroids just before. They’re cute to look back on, I love how they’ve turned out!
6. Mecca Bingo
I’ve never played bingo before but that changed this month when I tried out Mecca Bingo! I was hopeless to start out but it was okay – couldn’t see me doing it for fun anytime soon though! I won a grand total of £3.25. Ballin’.
7. Kylie Lip Kit in 22
The second one I received this month! 22 is a gorgeous orange-red and I absolutely love it. I’ve worn it out on a couple nights out and received compliments on it… it’s a firm favourite of mine already! You can read the full review here.
8. Boots No7 Haul
I haven’t treated myself to anything in forever! But that changed on pay day when I treated myself to a bunch of No7 goodies. 2 skin products have already miraculously cleared up my skin which makes me feel over the bloody moon. The brand new contour palette is bloody amazing and I’ve also reviewed it this month!
9. Colouring Book
I’ve been hunting for a colouring book all year and I’ve never found the right now. All the ones I’ve checked out have horrendous looking intricate patterns and how that can relax people I do not know! But I found the perfect one for me, named The Passive Aggressive Colouring Book – for people who don’t get the whole calm thing. It’s got me written all over it!
10. No7 Gel Varnish in Blissful
I picked up a new nude shade in my No7 haul called Blissful. It’s a soft pink shade with a gel finish and I absolutely love it. I’ve been wearing it for work and no chips as of yet – hoorah!
11. Limited Edition Daisy Dream Blush
Another treat to me, love me, oops. I have the original Daisy Dream but I couldn’t resist this limited edition Blush one! I just love the bottle and the scent is equally as beautiful.
12. Jungle Book
I saw Jungle Book this month and it was bloody good. A lot darker than I expected, but I enjoyed it none the less. Even though I did nod off for about 10 minutes… oops.
I really need to jump on the Kylie Lip Kit bandwagon! xx

Oh the tweet bubble bar looks incredible! I must remember to visit the Oxford Street Lush store when i'm next in London to pick up some limited edition goodies. I also really want to try out some of their face masks, I once tried a chocolate tester one which was so good and tempting to eat hehe.
I'm seeing The Jungle this weekend myself, looking forward to it – such a Disney fan.

I love this style of post! All of your photographs are amazing too. The Kylie lip kits are sooo high on my wish list, I'm a sucker for matte and nude so they sound perfect for me! I also totally adore your family polaroids. I have an old polaroid camera sat on my shelves that doesn't get used as much as I would like but don't they just create the sweeteset little momentos to cherish forever?!
