No7 nail varnishes don’t seem to be mentioned much, so on a whim back in the Boxing Day Sales, I treated myself to the No7 Glitz and Glamour nail varnish set, with 12 varnishes in a variety of finishes…
(L-R) Me Me Me, Cheeky Chops, Damson Dream, Temptress
The first 4 in the set are from the Stay Perfect range and are all available to be bought individually for £6. The Stay Perfect nail colour range are all pigmented with rich colours and have a quick drying ultra gloss finish. My favourite out of the 4 has to be Me Me Me, it’s a gorgeous fuscia pink shade which would look beautiful paired with tanned skin.
(L-R) Hotting Up, Red, Deep Wine, Neptune
The second batch of 4 nail varnishes are from the Gel Finish range and are all available (except Neptune) individually for £7.00. The Gel Finish range are rich in colour and help to plump the nail in 2 coats; it gives a gorgeous gel-look shine to the nail too. My favourite out of the 4 has to be Deep Wine, it’s the perfect Autumn/Winter plum shade and works with any skin tone.
(L-R) Disco Ball, Sun Rays, Blue, Black
The final batch of 4 nail varnishes are from the Nail Effect range and Stay Perfect range and are all available to be bought individually for £6 & £7. The Nail Effect range is designed to help you create a jazzy top coat over normal nail varnish, or used layered up to create a full on glitter effect. My favourite out of the 2 has to be Sun Rays – the golden glitter would give you the perfect Spring/Summer mani. As mentioned before, the Stay Perfect range are all rich in colour and have a fast drying time. I tried Blue the other day and absolutely love it – it’s just a shame it stained my nail slightly!
The set retailed at £25 Christmas time but I nabbed it in the sales for £12.50! The set is unavailable on Boots now, but I’ve found various people selling the set on Ebay/Amazon all for decent prices.
What’s your favourite shade from the bunch?
