I managed to go shopping before work on Boxing Day, and bagged a few bargains in Boots and Debenhams!
I’m not usually one for sale shopping, but I thought I’d see what all the fuss was about this time. I was in town Boxing Day morning for 8am to squeeze in some shopping before my friend and I started work at 10. Town was eerily quiet. I suppose that’s the way it should be the day after Christmas, but I was expecting mass queues outside Next and people struggling to carry all their bargain buys.
Our first stop was Boots. I headed straight for the No7 gift section and nabbed a couple sets – they were all half price after all! The first thing I picked up was the No7 Beautiful Skin set. The main reason I picked up this set was because of the sturdy vanity case, but I’m looking forward to trying out the contents. The case contains: Beautiful Skin Sumptuous Bath Milk, Beautiful Skin Perfecting Body Polish, Beautiful Skin Blissful Body Wash and Beautiful Skin Nourishing Hand & Nail Cream. All the products have a subtle cucumber scent which is really refreshing. It’ll be a nice change from using bath bombs and bubble bars. I also picked up the No7 Stay Perfect set, which includes 5 metallic eye pencils. I’ve tried travel versions of these in the Beauty Wonders advent calendar – and I loved them! I also picked up the Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Christmas Gift Set. Daisy eau so fresh has raspberry, wild rose and warm plum notes – a super refreshing scent.
I popped into Debenhams and bought the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Christmas Gift Set. Daisy Dream is floral and fruity, packed with blackberry, grapefruit, pear and coconut water. I love Marc Jacobs perfumes and of course, the bottles are so beautiful too.

Although I'm not usually one for January sale shopping (well.. except for Online of course) – I did happen to pick up a few nice bits in the Boots sale this year!
Nothing better than picking up a good bargain – especially when it's half price!

great picks! i love the no7 range although i haven't used any of their skincare for a while. surprising that it was so quiet, i always assumed boxing day at 8am would be crazy too! x

I was so tempted to buy something, but in the end I was good and did not buy anything. The Stay Perfect set is very tempting though, I really want to try more eyeliners this year and eventually get better at it.
