Gemma from Gems Country Life Dream kindly organised an Essex Bloggers meet at Lush, where we explored the Christmas range, made our own bubble bars and had an arm massage…
We explored the Christmas range, (which I’m a big fan of this year) and got to see the bubble bars and bath bombs in action. I’ve stocked up on Golden Wonder this year as it’s my absolute favourite, alongside this years new festive addition, Peeping Santa!
We got to make our very own Bah Humbug’s next – which was eventful to say the least – and boy do those Lush employees make incredible products! We mixed a variety of ingredients together, and were shown how to mould them. You have to make two sausage-shape moulds, one purple and one white, and plait them. This looks, and sounds, easier than it is… Once you’ve twisted them together, you squish it together. This creates the spiral pattern! My attempt however was pretty questionable. But a sprinkling of silver glittery dust did the trick!
We had some time to browse the store, which was nice as in the day time it can be manic. I *somehow* managed to resist buying anything, but I was seriously tempted by the gift sets on offer. There was even one that cost £150 and contained everything imaginable. If someone out there loves me that much… you know what you can get me!
Last of all, we learnt a little about their massage bars and were given some massage techniques to use on our partners. Charlotte gave me a super lovely arm massage, and I can only apologise for my attempt…
Thank you Gemma for organising this event! I look forward to meeting some more new faces at the next Essex Bloggers event 🙂
