Lush Oxford Street Creamy Candy

Back in May I popped into Lush Oxford Street days after it had open, to explore the new flagship store and to see what limited edition products I could get my hands on. I’ve written a full post here about what I bought at Lush Oxford Street if you’d like to see what I bought!

One of the products I picked up was a bubble bar called Creamy Candy. Creamy Candy isn’t new to Lush and has been in the normal range for a while now, but I’m yet to try it. This bubble bar shares the same smell as Snow Fairy (a Christmas shower gel) and Magic Wand (a christmas bubble bar). It has a really soft, sweet and floral smell too. It’s fairly similar to The Comforter but not as berry smelling.

I can’t for the life of me remember who tweeted me this, but I was told to get more bubbles from a bubble bar you crumble it into a sieve and let the water flow over it. Now I can’t say my mum’s best pleased about me using her sieve (sorry mum) but it works so much better and doesn’t leave any residue and chunks on the bottom of the bath. It makes a good amount of bubbles and leaves the water a super cute baby pink shade. Internet person I THANK YOU.

I’ve noticed I keep picking up super *girly* pink bath bombs and bars, but never try really dark ones. Seeing Jemma using Intergalactic on Instagram makes me feel like I need it in my life – it looks  so gorgeous! It’s definitely on my list of things to try next.

What’s your favourite Lush bath product?

You know what? Using a dive is actually a brilliant idea, it also catches whatever 'surprises' that sometimes in Lush bath bombs. Definitely will use this trick!

Oooh using a sieve is such a good idea! I love my bubble bar but find that I can only get a couple of uses out of some, will definitely give that a go. Creamy Candy is such a nice little treat, it's not my favourite (that's The Comforter or Candy Mountain) but it's still so lovely xx
