Towards the end of June, I was out shopping and had a major TREAT YO’SELF sensation come across me. I headed to the Benefit counter in Boots and the rest is history…
After a 1-2-1 consultation with one of the ladies at the counter, I ended up buying Hello Flawless, Dr. Feelgood, Highbrow and Gimmie Brow. I’ve written a little round up of each product, and I’m even wearing it in this photo ^. Appreciate my almost makeup-less face people.
Hello Flawless in Honey (I’m Cute As A Bunny) – £25.50
Hello Flawless is a silky powder which can be used as a foundation, spot cover-up or as a setting powder over foundation. The powder is light and sheer, and can be built up for coverage. Not forgetting it has SPF15 packed into it too! The powder comes in a sturdy box with 2 layers – one with the powder on, and another to hold a sponge and a brush. I tend to use the powder with a large Kabuki brush as I find I can apply it to my skin far quicker. I was a little surprised at the price tag, considering there’s only 7g of powder, but I’m using it for “special occasions” so I expect it’ll last.
Dr. Feelgood – £23.50
Dr. Feelgood is a velvety balm to help mattify shiny skin. The balm can be used as a mid-day touch up product, worn alone or under/on top of makeup. The balm is packed with vitamins A, C & E which helps to smooth away fine lines too. It has a gorgeous subtle lemon scent too, which feels fresh on the skin. A small sponge also comes with the balm, which is handy for on the go application. I like to use the balm after I’ve let my moisturiser sink in to give my skin a nice base. I’m yet to try it above makeup, not 100% sure how that would work!
High Brow – £16.50
High Brow is a luminous brow lifting pencil. The highlighting pencil is soft to use with a glowing champagne-pink shade to it. To use, you apply the pencil beneath the brow, following the arch, and lightly blend. I also like to add it to the inside corner of my eye and on the cupid’s bow. It’s a simple little product but I’ve loved incorporating it into my brow routine, I’ve definitely noticed the difference since using it.
Gimmie Brow – £18.50
Gimmie Brow is a brow-voluminising fibre gel which sticks to skin & hair, helping to “create brows where before there were none.” The gel builds easy for the perfect arch. The gel is also water resistant, long wearing and natural looking. I’ve loved using this product the most, purely because I’m on a never ending quest to perfect what little brows I do have. I had a problem using the Brow Zings as I found the powder oxidised when I was wearing it, it looked gappy and orange after a few hours, but I’ve had no problems whatsoever with Gimmie Brow. I’m in love. BROW HEAVEN.

Gorgeous haul, aww I think treat days are always so lovely 🙂 I really want to try the Hello Flawless powder as I have their oxygen foundation and love that so think this would be a great powder to team with, just sucks to hear that you only get 7g of product. I’ve always wondered what the Dr Feelgood is but now I’m tempted to try this 🙂

I've tried the Hello Flawless powder once and it seemed really nice. But I'm not much of a powder person so never bought it. The Gimme Brow, however, is my holy grail brow product. Most days, that's all I wear. It does dry quite a bit after a while, though. But still a great product. xx

Benefit is the only high-end brand I love buying from. Not only does their packaging look amazing, but the quality is really good. I love They`re Real! Mascara and the Hello Flawless Powder, but my absolute favourite is Gimme Brow. In a few second it makes my eyebrows look groomed and fuller.
