I attended the #nyLDNmeet in London at Bitter Sweet in Soho last weekend, (which took longer than expected to find!). We managed to pick up other bloggers along the way, and once we found the venue we were all greeted by a glass of prosecco. This is the first bloggers meet I’ve been to so I was super nervous but looking forward to it! We sat down to a beauty presentation with the lovely ladies from MooGoo to learn about their vegan/organic beauty products. We were also given a sneak peak into the sister brand Dusty Girls, which is to be released in the UK very soon! We had a couple hours to mingle, get our nails and hair done, and even have a beautiful henna tattoo done – all for free! I had to opt out of all of them sadly as I had work that evening. Sob. There was also a beautiful display of jewellery from Stella & Dot (Which I stupidly didn’t photograph… where was my head that day?!). I have my eye on this clutch bag however, sorely tempted to treat myself! I took part in a cocktail making class – I made a Woo Woo (you won’t see me drinking anything else really, pretty sad). I made it with a dash of lime juice for a little something and it tasted delicious. Having spoken to Emma – essaysandwine – for a year I was so excited to meet her at the event! She’s the bubbliest, loveliest girl ever and I hope to see you real soon!! Was lovely to meet some Essex bloggers too; Charlotte – withlovelottie – accompanied me to the event and she’s such a lovely down to earth girl. I hope to attend many more events with you! I received the most generous gift bag too, one jam packed with MyProtein products and another that included products from Lee Stafford, Crabtree & Evelyn, Blanx, Revlon and many more! Looking forward to testing some bits out!
I’d like to thank Amy, Lauren and Tamsyn for inviting me to attend the event, and for all their hard work that they put into the day! They bought some incredibly generous raffle prizes and collaborated with some amazing brands!
I've yet to meet any other bloggers but meetups seem so great for meeting new blog friends 🙂 This seems like such a lovely day out xx
