LUSH Honey Trap balm

The wintery weather has finally set in for good now; I’m kind of gutted snow hasn’t reached Essex yet! The cold wind, air con and central heating at uni, work and home have all contributed to my dry and chapped lips so I was in desperate need of some lip TLC. I picked up Honey Trap in LUSH a month or so back and have used the little pot of joy ever since. Honey Trap contains white chocolate, honey, beeswax, shea butter and oatmeal just to name a few of the natural ingredients. I couldn’t pinpoint a specific ingredient as such when I applied it at first because the scent is pretty strong. I tend to use it at night time to let my lips absorb it as it’s a thicker consistency than my day to day cocoa Vaseline. I found it hard to part with £5.75 at first as it’s such a small tin, but a little certainly goes a long way and it makes my lips feel so nourished and soft.

What are your lip saviours this winter?

This looks so nice, I'm looking for a lipbalm to sit in my bedside table that I can slather on before bed to make my lips all lovely and this looks like it could be the one to try!

I was lucky enough to receive this in my stocking at Christmas. I have been using it after using the Bubblegum Lip Scrub and I can really see a difference in my lips, they feel so much more soft and nourished after using the too. What a lovely post as well 🙂 xx

This sounds lovely, I think I'd end up eating it off my lips! White chocolate in lip balm? Nom.

Ohh this sound so lovely, I love the smell of Honey/ White Chocolate & it has such a great nourishment factor too 😀 perfect. I agree with you on the price, but I will trust your opinion about it lasting long 😀

My lips have been suffering a bit this winter, and although my trusty vaseline is still doing its job I think I might need to invest in something a bit more intense, this sounds lush (haha) but yeah slightly on the expensive side. I'll see how my bank balance is looking!

I've been wanting to try one of the Lush lip balms, but £5.75 for a tiny tin does seem as lot. Seeing as you don't have to use much a may bite the bullet and give it a go!The Velvet Black // UK Style & Beauty Blog

This little lipbalm certainly does sound lovely! I've been using one type of vaseline/balm throughout my entire life and I have never used anything else strangely enough. It's just so good and I get it from my local apothecary here in Belgium. Having said that, I'd like to try this and see how I get along with it!
