London is definitely where my heart belongs and I was there last week soaking up the sun with my boyfriend and fancied doing something a little different to the usual tourist-y things. I love Hyde Park, it covers a vast space and is so nice to just walk around and chill out in. This time instead of the usual stroll around the park, we hired some pedal boats for an hour and enjoyed exploring the Serpentine. The pedal boats were fun to use and hold up to 4 people, prices and times can be found here. Alternatively you can hire a traditional rowing boat for 2 which looked pretty cute. After an hour pedalling, we had lunch at TGI Fridays @ Leister Square – probably my favourite restaurant ever – and indulged in burgers, gooey desserts and cocktails which you can see here. The Woo Woo is my favourite; vodka, cranberry juice & peach schnapps, dayyyyyyum good.
What are your favourite things to do in London? Any cocktails I should try from TGI Fridays on my next visit?
It looks like a lovely day!
I have a little bit of an obsession with TGI's and always get a Lynchburg Lemonade (and the bartender always asks me if I want a large – he knows how it is!)

This looks like the perfect sunny day out. I strangely love pedal boats – I think they're such a funny thing to do in the summer. I especially loved the very, ahem, flattering life jacket that I had to wear when I last went out on one. I hope Glasgow sees plenty more sun this summer so I can have a day like this soon!

Hyde park is lovely I recently visited and it was absolutely packed with people. The water is a good way to escape. Another favourite is St James. Lucy
I missed Hyde Park last time, but I'm not gonna miss it this Sep! x

It looks lovely – I've never been to Hyde Park!Blog of Bits and Bobs // A UK Beauty and Personal Style Blogxoxo
I've never been out on the Serpentine before–maybe we can work it in this summer. London is so much fun. I had a good laugh about TGI Friday's. When Paul and I were still renting, our landlords went to Scotland to visit their daughter and got trapped by the volcano that erupted in Iceland and couldn't fly out. They were so terrified of trying "native food" that they ate at TGI Friday's every night they were there. Couldn't believe it, especially when they could just have that here in Wichita! I don't know what was so scary about the Edinburgh food scene; maybe they thought someone would try to force-feed them haggis at every meal?
Cocktails are pretty much my calling in life. I only feel complete with a cocktail in hand, and the more expensive it looks, the better. I think I've been out on one of the pedal boats years ago when I was much younger, but I would love to go again. I'd probably make Jordan do all the pedalling as I glamorously sunned myself, but what are boyfriends for, hey? Big hugs for you girl xxx
