June 2017: My Month in Photos

hannatalks june 2017 month in photos

June flew by for me at an alarming rate, but here’s what I got up to, including BBQs, eating out and going to concerts!

Instagram definitely took a back seat for me this month. I had a real love/hate relationship with Instagram this month, what with the algorithm totally crushing any interaction and finding it more and more infuriating to use the platform! Plus, I’ve been enjoying my weekends chilling in the sun far too much – it’s not every day England has beaut weather!

Jurassic Falls Adventure Golf

If you didn’t already know, I love a good game of crazy golf. Whether it’s rooftop golf or Junkyard golf – I’m hooked! James and I have been to Jurassic Falls Adventure Golf a few times before so we’re familiar with the course, but it’s good fun to play it each time!

Byron Oreo Cheesecake

I went for a dinner date with my friend Alice to Byron in Bond Street in Chelmsford for an evening of good food, good company and a good ol’ catch up! I ordered the Oreo cheesecake for dessert and it did not disappoint – it’s the most chocolatey, richest cheesecake ever and I can’t wait to have it again. DELISH.

Capital Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium

I’ve never been to Capital Summertime Ball before so I went there with my two pals from Uni, Jade and Emily, and we had a great day eating, dancing and singing to over 25 acts! It was a super long day but I really enjoyed it. Sean Paul and Anne Marie were probably my favourite acts of the day, and Bruno Mars was amazing at opening the show!

Father’s Day BBQ

For Father’s Day we had a big BBQ with burgers, sausages and homemade kebabs, and spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the sun and playing numerous games of Uno, an afternoon well spent!

Red Letter Days UK Taster Day at Paradise Wildlife Park

I had an amazing email drop into my inbox in June and it was something I accepted in a flash! I went to Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne for a Red Letter Days Ambassador taster day with other Essex and London bloggers. The experience day we got to experience was Afternoon Tea with a tiger and it was such a great day – I can’t wait to write my review up on the amazing day!

Lush parcel from Myriad PR

The lovely ladies over at Myriad PR sent me a wonderful Lush gift box full of my favourite treats, including The Comforter bubble bar and the Sex Bomb bath bomb! It’s all in conjunction with a new TENA campaign which I can’t wait to show you all!

July is going to be a busy one for me, including a holiday to Weymouth, booking driving lessons and planning for upcoming holidays – so fingers crossed for a more jam packed (and productive) month!
