I love finding new, fun things to do in London, and it’s a plus that this central-located beach is free AND they sell the most delicious cocktails…
Myself and Jade stopped off at Camden market first to try these Oreo doughnuts! They were delicious. The Candy Bar stall (just outside the Cyberdog shop) sold them as 4 for £3 and I may or may not have consumed almost all of them… I was worried they’d be sickly but they weren’t at all. The batter was hot and crispy, the inside soft and spongy and the oreo soft, with a gooey centre. Sweet n’ delicious!
Camden Beach is free to go to and is open until 11pm every night. Happy hour is 5pm-7pm too, making those £8 cocktails a little more palatable to enjoy! The beach has such a lovely chilled out vibe to it. There’s a couple of bars, VIP beach hut section, a small pop up cafe, a lounge seating area with comfy sofas and a ping pong table.
There’s also a backdrop to take photos in front of and a Coca-Cola Photo Booth which is a lovely touch. You get a free can of coke and can take as many photos as you like in the photo booth, then send them to your email address to keep forever!
I had a lovely couple of hours at Camden Beach and I’d love to visit again before the end of summer. It has a lovely chilled out vibe and the soft sand and cocktails make it feel like you could be on holiday somewhere exotic!
