My Top 5 Perfumes For Spring

My perfume collection is slowly expanding, so here’s a little low down on my 5 go-to perfumes as we transition from Winter into Spring…

I wrote a post on my perfume collection back when I first started blogging 2 years ago – look at those cringe worthy photos and font! eeeeeep – so I thought it was about time I updated my collection. My 5 current go-to perfumes are Daisy Eau So Fresh, Burberry My Burberry, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, YSL Black Opium and Daisy Dream.

75ML – £59.00

Eau So Fresh is described as a vibrant and charming fragrance, developed from the original Daisy fragrance. There are top notes of raspberry, grapefruit and pear, with bass notes of plum and musk. I don’t tend to reach for this one too much as I find it too fruity – I’m more of a floral gal – but it’s nice to wear for evenings and occasional wear. The bottle is gorgeous too, a lovely Spring edition to my collection.

30ML – £45.00

I wrote a full review on My Burberry last year, but its a nice sweet/floral/musky scent. It’s rather strong though so I don’t tend to wear it for day to day wear, but its nice to pop on when I’m not feeling a sickly-sweet scent!

50ML – £58.00

Coco Mademoiselle is my favourite luxurious perfume. It’s an oriental fragrance of orange, jasmine and rose. It feels incredibly light and floral on the skin, and the smell lingers all day. It’s one of those scents that you’d definitely recognise if someone walked past with it on, much like Angel. I don’t want this bottle to ever end – it’s my favourite evening go-to perfume.

50ML – £64.00

Black Opium is described as a glam-rock seductive fragrance, with a balance of sweetness and spice. There are top notes of pink pepper and orange blossom, with bass notes of coffee and vanilla. This is my favourite evening wear perfume, it smells sexy and warming. The bottle is gorgeous, and as with most expensive perfumes, its wearability is very good!

50ML – £52.00

Daisy Dream is described as a light and airy fragrance, with a balance of floral and fruity notes. Although personally, I pick up the fruity scent a lot more. There are top notes of blackberry, grapefruit and pear and base notes of musk and coconut water. I love wearing this one for day to day wear, it smells so fruity and fresh on the skin and lasts well on the skin. The bottles are super attractive too, the main reason why I love buying Marc Jacobs perfumes!
