DECEMBER: My month in photos

December has been an unbelievably packed month for me. I wasn’t so careful with my pay cheque last month and splurged a lot on makeup – which makes a nice change from clothes! I decided to purchase Browzings after a long battle against buying it and I’ve finally realised the hype around the product. I love the wax and powder combo, along with the 2 handy brushes and tweezers inside. Is it worth the £24.50 price tag? I’m not so sure. I scooped this up on a 20% off day however, along with Rockateur – a gorgeous shimmering scented bronzer. I attended an 02 Think Big workshop in Social Media, fronted by the lovely Emma Gannon from The Debrief in london earlier this month. It was an informative talk and definitely made me realise what I want to forge a career in. Do I go Uni or not? I’m still so undecided – argh! My best friend Gemma came down from Birmingham to visit me one weekend. We double dated and went to Giraffe for dinner and cocktails, and a mini night out! I actually met Gemma on Stardoll… has anyone heard of/used that site?!?!  *cringing* We started talking when we were 12 and have been friends ever since, so crazy to think how we met and we’re still as close as anything now! I spent Christmas Eve Eve with my best friend Hayley at Winterwonderland in London, where we ate kinder beuno crepes, drank cherry mulled wine and watched a Freak Show circus, I was definitely in the mood for christmas at that point. I’ve spent most this month at uni/working so haven’t had the time to feel Christmassy. I bought all my Christmas presents in one day and was pretty darn pleased with them. I spent Christmas Day with my family in Somerset and definitely over indulged. Far too much. I was spoilt this year and I’m ridiculously excited to try out the NARS palette, I’ve been swooning over it for a loooooong time.

So this is my final entry for 2014! I’ve almost been blogging a year now, which has gone super duper quick. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed blogging this year though and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me next year. Happy New Year! x

I got the Brow Zings for Christmas last year. Even though I LOVED it, mine has now run out and I won't be repurchasing it. I just hate spending large amounts of money on something when I know there are cheaper options out there!

while i've not tried benefit's brow products i do think it's worth splurging in some areas of beauty, and when it's a brow kit that's probably going to last you the next two years or so, when you work out the cost per day it really doesn't seem so expensive. 🙂
