LUSH Routine: Banish those blemishes

After an in-depth twitter chat about tackling my ever changing problematic skin, Freya from norsesouth (one of my favourite bloggers btw) suggested I try ultrabland; a thick cleanser made with almond oil, rosewater and honey just to name a few of the naturally good ingredients. I’d liken the cleanser to a really thick lard-like consistency and you only need to use a teeny-weeny bit. I use the cleanser to wipe away makeup, simply by rubbing it into my skin and then wiping it away with a warm damp cotton pad. I use it to freshen up my skin too, it doesn’t leave my skin feeling sticky or oily at all which is a double thumbs up for me!

After wiping away the cleanser, I spray a toner called breath of fresh air onto a cotton pad and wipe over my face. The toner is said to be the sea breeze captured in a bottle and I’d definitely vouch for that as my skin feels soft and fresh afterwards. The seaweed and rose extracts help to reduce the red patches on my cheeks and it’s a lovely little refreshing pick-me-up during the day too.

To finish up this routine I’ll be purchasing celestial ASAP. I used a little tester pot and loved it, the consistency was thick but a little went a long way. It didn’t make my skin any oiler either. YAyyyyyyy

Do you have any skin products that you swear by?! I’d love to know!

I've heard amazing things about Ultrabland, I'll definitely have to try it out! The only thing I've purchased from Lush's skincare range is their masks, but I'd love to try more of their range soon.

Breath Of Fresh Air is a fantastic toner, works wonders on my skin! I use Let The Good Times Roll instead of Ultrabland and the moment and I love both x
