The British Tag

I don’t drink tea. I don’t particularly like it, which is a surprise as

my parents and family all enjoy it. I think when I’m a bit older I’ll

probably enjoy it more. I’m more of a Costa kinda gal’. Delish.

Mmmm… I love everything about a roast dinner. There’s nothing

better than having a roast dinner with all the trimmings, especially

come Christmas time. (Probably my highlight of the holiday!) My

favourite part would probably be the roast potatoes and yorkshire

puddings. But I also love leek & cheese and carrot & swede mash.

I always dunk digestives in my Dads’ tea, I love the chocolate

coated ones as well. Ginger biscuits are really good dunking

biscuits too, ooo and malt biscuits. Craving some now!

I’d probably go for a day out at the beach. Even if the temperature

just about reaches double figures, there’s nothing better than chilling

on the beach with fish & chips, polished off with either a 99 or sugary

doughnuts. A trip to the arcades 2p machines or the Waltzer is always

a bonus too, and a game of air hockey – aggressive player over here.

I probably say ‘hun’ a lot, but that’s through text and talking
online as opposed to face to face.

I was born in East Ham in London so I’m sure the majority of people

there used cockney rhyming slang, but the only one I can remember

is ‘Apple and Pears’ meaning stairs. I don’t think many people use

that anymore though!

If I had my own pub, I’d probably call it something like Twist.

I picture it to be some kinda cocktail/beer garden with a BBQ and

fire pit, more like an upmarket pub!

I have a seriously sweet tooth so anything goes for me! My absolute

favourite chocolate is Galaxy Cookie Crumble, but I’m partial to

some haribos, minstrels, kit-kats and snickers, too…

An English person that initially jumps to mind is Borris Johnson.

I don’t think he’s “all there” and at times what comes out of his

mouth is embarrassing… but nonetheless, he’s funny & quirky.

My favourite shops would probably be River island and Boots. My

wardrobe is pretty much full of RI clothes, I definitely need to start

shopping around! Whenever I’m on the hunt for beauty products, I

always rely on Boots, mainly because of the points I can collect! My

fav restaurant would have to be TGI Fridays, absolutely adore the

cocktails and their burgers are b-e-a-utiful.

Most of the songs I have in my head right now are probably

international bands… but i’d go for Queen and their hit Bohemian

Rhapsody – if I’m wrong please do tell me!!

I’ve only ever tried marmite crisps from Walkers a long time back
and from what I remember, I really enjoyed them! Whether or not
i’d have it spread over my toast is another thing…

I was tagged by the lovely Cristina to try out The British Tag, originally created by Sammi. I’d love to see your answers to the tags so be sure to link me them below!

Argh I'm like the opposite to you when it comes to tea and roasts. I LOVE tea and drink countless cups a day (can't function without my morning cup) but when it comes to roasts, I'm pretty indifferent. Gravy just freaks me out a little bit. Oh, and marmite is like my number one enemy. Best believe I ain't letting anybody bring that near me gurrrrl. Borris is deffs number one Brit though. xxxx
