Tena Lights Blogger Event At Champneys: #noonetoldme

Join me for an afternoon at Champneys, with circuit and yoga classes, a spa treatment, and a new campaign launched by TENA Lights…

I made the journey to Champneys Spa in Tamworth with Laura, on a rather cramped Midlands train from Euston, but we were equipped with all the foods from M&S for the long journey ahead!

On arrival, we met the lovely Myriad PR team and had a short presentation on TENA Lights: what they are about, what they are for and the #noonetoldme campaign that has just launched to banish the taboo around those Oooops Moments!

Oooops Moments Happen! C’est la vie

*Spilling coffee on a book, missing the bus to a meeting, or a little leak when you burst out laughing. We all have those small misfortunes – but now you can say c’est la vie to little leaks with new lights by TENA thanks to FeelFresh™ Technology.

Lights by TENA are specifically designed for light bladder weakness, with FeelFresh Technology that quickly locks in moisture and controls odour, to keep you fresh and dry.

Bladder weakness affects 1 in 2 women in the UK, and the #noonetoldme campaign has united women across the country to talk about this taboo subject, which we will all experience at some point in our lives! You can watch real life Oooops Moment stories here.

TENA have designed 5 new products in the new lights by TENA range. They have been specially designed for little leaks and are guaranteed to keep you feeling fresher and drier, thanks to the FeelFresh technology they have developed.

In conjunction with the campaign, TENA and Myriad PR invited bloggers from across the country to Champneys Spa, to participate in an afternoon of exercise (boo) champagne (yay) and spa treatments (DOUBLE YAY).

I was feeling mega apprehensive about the exercise classes. I haven’t been to a gym or been to any gym classes for a good couple of years. But I stuck into the circuit class run by Champneys trainer Craig, and boy were we all put to the test!

We did a circuit training class for an hour, consisting of various exercises repeated, using weights and our own body weight. Everyone was out of breath and in a heap after that session, and I couldn’t walk all that well for about 2 days… NO YOU’RE UNFIT! A couple jacuzzi baths and some Deep Freeze gel later and I am finally feeling a little more human. It’s time to get back into the gym I think!

The weather was warm and sunny, so Craig had us take a yoga class outside! I’ve never done yoga before, but I enjoyed elements of it. I didn’t find it as relaxing as some people make it look… but I’m sure after a couple more tries at it I’ll be feeling more comfortable! I had aching muscles from this class though, muscles that I didn’t even know I bloomin’ had. Time to sort myself out I think…

After the couple hours of exercise, we were presented with a platter of cake, (GAH) and were whisked away for our complimentary spa treatments. I had the Head In The Clouds spa treatments, which was a head and shoulder massage using oils. I felt so relaxed and chilled out after this, it was a lovely treatment to award all of my hard work that afternoon!

I popped into the Champneys shop after my treatment and treated myself to some bubble bath and dry body oil. I’ve already used the bubble bath and it smells amazing and creates so many bubbles. I’m looking forward to trying out the dry body oil when my skin is in need of some hydration!

This was hands down one of my favourite blogger events, it was well planned and thought out, and the bloggers and Myriad PR ladies were so lovely!
