No7 Beauty Wonders Advent Calendar – My Thoughts

Enjoyed reading this? Let your friends know!

I treated myself to the No7 Beauty Wonders Advent Calendar to count down to Christmas. Here’s what was inside the calendar and whether or not I’d buy it again this year…

I’m so used to having a Cadbury’s chocolate advent calendar that I fancied upgrading to a beauty one in 2015. I signed up to find out when the No7 Beauty Wonders Advent Calendar would be released and how I could get my hands on it. I eventually bought it in the Boots at Westfield Stratford in late November and I think it sold out within a week.

First impressions, the Beauty Wonders advent calendar looked exciting. It had bold pink and red stripes with glitter around the sides. Protected by a plastic cover with a bow on the top!

I love the fact that there were 25 doors to open, as most advent calendars stop at Christmas Eve. Over the month, I opened doors to either full size or travel size products, including (but not in order):

Stay Perfect Eyeliner

Extravagant Volume Waterproof Mascara

Smokey Eye Pencil

Protect & Perfect Hand Cream

Lovely Lashes Mascara

Eyeshadow x2

Eyelash Curlers

Beautiful Skin Eye Make-up Remover

Protect & Perfect Day Cream

Beautiful Skin Blissful Body Wash

Instant Illusions Airbrush Away Primer

Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator

Shine & Tint Lipgloss

Nail Varnish x3

Protect & Perfect Night Cream

Skin Illuminator

Stay Perfect Eyeliner x2

Lip Crayon

Beautiful Skin Perfecting Body Polish

BB Lips

Youthful Eye Serum

I have genuinely enjoyed each and every one of these products. It’s also nice to be able to try travel sized products and they’re handy sizes to stash away in my sample drawer! I’m not disappointed by any of these products and I would definitely consider purchasing a beauty advent calendar again! The only downside to this one? Some of the doors were ridiculously hard to open so I had to break away some of the packaging to actually prise the product out. But other than that, I loved it!

Have you bought a beauty advent calendar before?

Thanks for this post, it was interesting to hear your thoughts on the No7 beauty advent calendar. I got the No7 one in 2014 and enjoyed testing out some of the products I hadn’t tried before. I also found the miniatures super usual for trips away. I wouldn’t repurchase though just due to the fact I have now tried most of the range and it wouldn’t be as much of a surprise. This year I opted for a Bomb Cosmetics one and a nail goodies one by Wilko’s own brand. You seem to have enjoyed yours over December 2015 so I’m glad you want to repurchase. My fav products were the lip crayons and mascaras! 🙂 xx

Thank you for the super lovely comment! The miniature sized products are definitely handy to have, especially like you say, for trips away! I do love No7 and luckily I still have so many products to try! 🙂 Bomb Cosmetics is a lovely brand, I remember working with them when they were starting out and trialling their products! Sounds like you had a lovely calendar too! x

I saw so many people with the no7 calendar this year – I can't say it ever crossed my mind as no7 isn't a brand I would usually buy but it looks really fab. Also love the size of the products, they look slightly bigger than travel size so always handy – the skin illuminator looks lush!

I loved having a peek at your Instagram to see what you got but this post was a lovely round up of the calendar! I'm not sure I can ever justify the price of a beauty advent calendar but you got some lovely goodies. I like that it was a mix of full sized and travel sized too! x

You know what? I'm seriously kicking myself for not picking this up. Everything you got looks amazing, plus who doesn't love a mini?
