LUSH Chelmsford Valentine’s Day Event

This week, Lush Chelmsford invited bloggers from Essex to check out the Valentines Day range and  gave us the opportunity to make our very own Valentine’s Day bubble bar…

As with every other Lush limited edition range – I’m in love!

We looked at Lover Lamp first of all; a chocolate, vanilla and orange oil infused bath bomb, which releases tiny hearts into the water that melt away on the skin. The smell is delicious and I picked myself up one to try soon! The much loved Unicorn Horn bubble bar is back again this year, a bubble bar infused with ylang ylang oil and lavender. This smells a little too “earthy” for me, but it did look pretty in the water. Prince Charming also returns this year, a mash up of pomegranate, vanilla and marshmallow. The consistency of the shower gel looked quite thick and gloopy, but the colour is so lovely and vibrant. I’ve not tried soap from Lush before but I absolutely love the look, smell and feel of Roses All The Way! Inspired by Alice in Wonderland, the rose-shaped soap gently fades to a soft creamy pink when used on the skin, and leaves a soft rose oil smell on the skin!

I was so impressed by their Christmas red lip balm last year, so I wondered if their Valentines offering would be as good. And it is! The Kiss is a shimmery, light pink lip balm infused with shea butter. It’s a really light shimmery pink shade but it leaves your lips feeling super moisturised and soft. I’ve got my eye on the Lots Of Love gift set, which includes 3 bath bombs, 2 bubble bars and a bubbleroon. It retails at £27.95 which I think is a really good price! Plus, the packaging is so lovely too.

At the end of the evening, we had the chance to make our very own bubble bar to take home! We made a Valentines inspired Creamy Candy bar and shaped them into hearts – not bad eh?

Your bubble bars look great – I bet it was so much fun to do. Prince Charming sounds amazing, as does the lip gloss – I think I might need a visit to Lush…

I used the Prince Charming Shower Cream last night, absolutely loved it, the colour of the suds and water as it washed away was such a pretty pink and the smell was gorgeous x x x

I managed to squish my bubble bar on the way home so it's not very heart shaped anymore 🙁
