Seventeen Shimmer Brick… As An Eyeshadow

Seventeen is a brand that I’ve recently been getting into, including their contour palette and lipsticks, but I wanted to see if there was another way of using the Shimmer Brick…

…and I was right! It works pretty damn well as an eyeshadow.

Last month, Seventeen sent me a bag of products to try out and I loved them all, especially the punchy bright red lipstick. One product I didn’t get on so well with was the Shimmer Brick; I’ve put this down to the fact that it’s slightly too warm for my skin, so I’m sure it works well on others.

After a little google search, I found out that others had the same problem and instead used it as an eyeshadow. An eyeshadow I hear you cry? Well it actually works really well! The shades are really glittery so only a little bit is needed. I blended the second shade across the whole of my eye lid, used the first shade for the inner corners of my eyes, the fourth shade for the crease and the third shade in the centre of my lids. I love how it looks, and it just goes to show how versatile makeup is!

This palette would be perfect to pack for a weekend away or a holiday because of its multi-purpose uses. I’ll definitely be reaching for this palette for day to day looks! What multi-purpose makeup products do you use?

What a genius idea! It looks really beautiful on you too. I think I might just use this as an eyeshadow too!

I've seen the shimmer brick around and it's definitely something I like the look of! Great idea to use it as eye shadow – reminds me of a naked palette!
