November: My Month In Photos

Where on earth did November go? It absolutely flew past at an alarming pace. I managed to squeeze in a blogging event, lunches out, concert, a trip to Somerset and a few presents from me to me however…

1. Meeting New Bloggers

One of the pros to starting a blog is getting to meet new people. People you wouldn’t usually meet as you don’t live or work near them. But this month, I met the lovely Hannah (hannahslittlecorner.com) at a recent Wagamama event. I also met up with Charlotte, (withlovelottie.uk) Liv, (teaishappiness.co.uk) and Laura (lifebylaurax.com) in the middle of the month for an afternoon at Costa which was super lovely.

2. Lakeside Intu Wagamama Event

I was invited by VoiceComms to an evening at Wagamama’s at Intu Lakeside, where we got to check out the brand new refurb, new menu and takeaway options! We tried 4 different starters, 3 different mains and a side… so we all left suitably stuffed! I can’t wait to go back again and try out some more new things, as we were kindly gifted a £15 voucher each.

3. Olympus E-PL7
I treated myself to the Olympus E-PL7 – yay! I’ve had a quick play around with it, I shot these photos at the Burnham-On-Sea Carnival on auto mode – so I’m super excited to see what else I can do with it.

4. Firework Display
I got the chance to celebrate Guy Fawkes at a Firework display this year. We bought VIP tickets so we had our own bar, and our own little section to stand in and watch the display. I had a lovely chilled evening with my friends, we went on a few fairground rides and I ate the biggest nutella and banana crepe. It’s the small things.

5. Lunch Out At Wildwood
I’ve literally made THE best friend through work and she’s been my absolute rock these past few months. We finally had some free time from work so we went out to lunch at Wildwood. I had meatball cannelloni and we shared an eton mess sundae. I’m drooling just thinking about it.

6. Christmas Light Switch On
I went to the Chelmsford Christmas light switch on last week and it was an a-okay evening with festive stands and a firework display. There’s just something about standing in the cold, all wrapped up, with a hot chocolate topped with all the trimmings.

7. Costa Christmas Range 2015
Last year I didn’t try out any of the Christmas range but I’m making sure I make my way through them this year! First up I tried the Tiramisu Latte and Millionaires Tart. The latte was sweet but the only “tiramisu” element was the cream on top… and I am addicted to the Millionaires Tart now. SO CHOCOLATEY AND SO GOOEY AND SO GOOD. I’ve also tried the White Hot Chocolate (which I found tasted too malt-y) and my all time favourite – at the moment – has to be the Caramel Fudge Hot Chocolate.

8. Burnham-On-Sea Carnival
I got the chance to take a short break away to Somerset this month to check out the Burnham-On-Sea Carnival. I had such a great time watching it and got to play around with my new camera, snapping away. It’s crazy how much money and time people put into the floats. Let me know which ones are your favourite!

9. Selfies
Sometime’s you need to have days where you pop on some makeup, try on new clothes that you’ve ordered and feel good about yourself. So yeah, hi me!

10. No7 Beauty Wonders Advent Calendar
I’ve never had a beauty advent calendar before so this year I treated myself to the No7 Beauty Wonders one. There’s 25 doors and a selection of miniature and full size products available. I’m so excited to see what’s inside each day!

11. The 1975 at Cliffs Pavilion
I went to go and see The 1975 with Charlotte at Cliffs Pavilion in Southend and had a faaaaabulous evening. Minus the minor heart attack earlier on in the evening when I thought I’d lost the tickets. Eeeeeeep. Matt sounded amazing, as always, and I’m looking forward to hearing their new material again!

12. Merry Christmas To Me, Love Me
Sooooo the Christmas presents, to me from me, have started. I treated myself to a couple of Golden Wonder bath bombs from Lush as they’re limited edition for Christmas so they’ll be gone soon and I LOVE them. I also picked up the No7 Airbrush Away foundation, as it was on offer for £10 over the weekend, and the Colour Calming Primer. Both of which I’m looking forward to trying out!

I love Instagram so be sure to follow me: hannacornish!

December will be one BUSY month. Good luck to all us retail workers… I’m also hoping

to plan a couple Christmassy days out in London and of course, I need to do some shopping!
