New do with The Strand | Sebastian Professional Products Review

Following my last successful hair appointment at The Strand back in May in Chelmsford, I was super excited to be back in the salon last week ready for another sassalicious transformation. I already wrote in my previous review of how amazing the salon & hairdressers are and would 100% advise anyone in the Essex area to visit The Strand, and they didn’t fail to be any different this time. I was attended to by the same hair dresser, Laura, who is passionate about her job and definitely got the ideas flowing as soon as I was sat in the chair. This time around, I asked for more blonde to be worked through my hair and into the ends, as well as toning down the warmth in my hair which I really dislike. I had the ends lifted and my hair toned to take as much warmth out as possible, and I was left with beautifully soft blonde ends. I love how fresh my hair feels again and am still so happy with the results a week on.

I was advised on a range of Professional Sebastian products to nourish my hair and keep it feeling bright and fresh until my next appointment. I bought the Colour Ignite Multi Shampoo, Colour Ignite Multi Conditioner, Penetraitt Masque and Potion 9 Lite. The shampoo felt a little thin at first, but a little certainly goes a long way. The shampoo is designed to nurture, moisturise and revitalise multi-tonal and lightened hair. The conditioner is a mousse which I found really weird at first as I’m so used to heavy thick creams, but it did leave my hair feeling fresh and light. The conditioner is dedicated to moisturising and treating multi-tonal and lightened hair; adding shine and preserving colour vibrancy. The masque is a deep conditioning treatment for stressed, dull and chemically damaged hair. It’s designed to penetrate the hair, and to help repair and reconstruct it back to its naturally healthy self. I love putting this on my hair as a treat once a week, it leaves my hair feeling super soft and smelling amazing. The potion is from a different range of Sebastian products, but it’s essentially a lightweight conditioning and style product in one which can be sprayed onto the hair and left to soak in. It can be used on both damp and dry hair, and can also be added throughout the day to give your hair some oomf. I love popping it on just after I’ve towel dried it and worked the tangle teezer through it.

All of the products smell incredible and I 100% recommend them for anyone who has had treatments on their hair or for people who need to revive and freshen up their hair.

Wow, your hair looks fierce! I love it!
I really want to cut my hair short and go to a darker blonde – it'll be such a change though.
