I was fortunate to win Writing Essays With Wine‘s (AKA the lovely Emma) giveaway to win 6 personalised cupcakes from Eat Your Photo.

I opted for a simple design – my logo of course – and 2 days later I received the box. Inside, 6 cupcakes were carefully nestled inside the sturdy cardboard box. The packaging protects the cakes really well so there’s no worry of them becoming squashed or crushed in the transportation process. They’re also covered in a plastic-type bag for extra protection; sadly when I pulled the plastic away it took some of the logo with it… but I’ve not seen anyone else have this same problem.

Asides the plastic packaging faux pas, the cakes are honestly amazing.

The sponge is super light and fluffy, with a thick sickly sweet marzipan-cream type filling, sandwiched beneath a royal icing topping.

Drool.

The cakes are incredibly delicious, and have stayed fresh since I received them almost a week ago. I’m looking forward to ordering from them in the future, they have an array of personalised cakes, cake pops, edible toppers and much more.
