LUSH Chelmsford Spa Event

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that about 80% of my feed is of LUSH bath bombs, bubble bars and skin care products. Sorry not sorry. I was super excited to see an invitation in my inbox to the Chelmsford LUSH spa event, following the success of their previous Easter and Mother’s Day one. This event was inspired by The Planets – a brand new 3 hour spa treatment which takes you on a journey with a three-phase treatment which explores the past, present and the future. The treatment involves a massage, LUSH palm reading and a lifting facial.

I met Charlotte, Zoe and Verity and we mingled whilst eating candy floss and sipping raspberry green tea. We were introduced to three separate stations for the night: A skin consultation area, a hand and arm massage area and a foot scrub area. Charlotte and Verity each had mini skin consultations with Sam, and trailed out a few face masks and skin toners. We admired their arms and pretty much stroked and smelt them all night, too. They were unbelievably soft and smelt divine!

I headed to the next station which was dedicated to hand and arm massages. I couldn’t decide between the various massage bars, but eventually opted for Percup – a caffeine-fueld massage bar with whole coffee beans in. The bar also contains coconut, jojoba oils and cocoa butter – the perfect buttery blend. I had an arm massage from Aly, and felt incredibly relaxed after that. Although my skin smelt AMAZING, if I do say so myself, I didn’t really like the sticky texture it left on my skin. But I’m a bit funny with moisturisers anyway. Aly sprinkled over Vanilla Puff dusting powder, which instantly absorbed the excess oil and left my skin feeling smooth and soft. I actually went on to buy the massage bar and dusting powder – yay!

The final station was a foot scrubbing-TLC area; which I have to admit I didn’t use as I don’t show my feet to anyone. I even get funny about my boyfriend touching them! I have had heard from a valuable source though – aka Zoe – that the Stepping Stone foot scrub works wonders on those stubborn dry bits. I definitely need to get my hands on one ASAP as my feet need some work done to them pronto.

The evening came to an end once a few bloggers received relaxing facials and we were each given a homemade Catastrophe Cosmetic – a fresh face mask packed with blueberries, chamomile and rose oils to sooth and soften the skin.

As always with LUSH events, I thoroughly enjoyed myself! I recently visited LUSH Oxford Street and you can read what I bought here!

What treatment would you like to try?

P.S. I recently made a facebook page for hannatalks HERE! Would love it if you could give it a like 🙂

I've never used any Lush products, but I've been meaning to for a while. Not sure if they're worth all the hype, I see them on Tumblr all the time.

I'm a bit of a LUSH addict, I'd love to go to one of these! I wouldn't mind an arm massage 🙂 the problem with LUSH bath bombs is that once you've tried them, an "ordinary" bath is never good enough again, haha 🙂 but I still love their products, especially since their cruelty free x
