#LUSHChelmsford Easter and Mother’s Day Event

The excitement bubbled up inside me when I opened my inbox and saw an invitation to an Easter & Mother’s Day LUSH event. A bloggers dream come true if you ask me! I attended the event with Bex, (plug plug plug, Vegan and cruelty free blogger who I advise you to check out) alongside other bloggers from in and around Essex. We were greeted by the lovely Lushies Sam, Wendy, Nathan and Ross and watched demos on products from the 2015 Mother’s Day & Easter  range.

Hoppity Poppity, the rabbit bath bomb infused with lime and violet and a popping candy core, fizzed away in the water leaving deep pink and blue swirls. Next up, we checked out Bunch of Carrots, a reusable tropical infused bubble bar. I managed to capture Wendy creating bubbles, smelt divine too! Another Easter product available is Carrot Soap, with a leaping white bunny running through the centre. Golden Egg, the most glittery bath bomb known to man kind, bubbled away to reveal glittery shimmery water and golden foam. FYI, glitter gets everywhere so be aware. The one I was most looking forward to seeing was Immaculate Eggception, a 3-in-1 bath bomb which can be used all at once or cracked into bits. The best thing about it? A tiny chick bath bomb hidden in the centre! Pot O’ Gold is a shower jelly with orange peel, pineapple juice and vanilla in. I was fortunate enough to win this in a little comp on the night, I can’t wait to try it out! And last but not least, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, an earthy-scented glittery rainbow soap.

I had a quick browse at the Mother’s Day gift sets and new bath products. Bubblegrub was my favourite pick of the bunch, how cute are their little faces?! Mother Superior, Dorothy and Rose are all bubble bars in the Mother’s Day range. The bars range from citrus scents, to rose and cocoa – something to suit everyone’s taste! After checking out all the products, we had the opportunity to make a Butterball bathbomb. Mine broke twice, sob, but luckily patient Ross was at hand to help! Not holding my breath on being called to make more any time soon…

A massive thank you to Wendy, Nathan, Sam and Ross who invited me and made the evening such good fun! Not forgetting the most generous goody bags! Can’t wait to indulge in all the products.

What will you be picking up from the Easter/Mother’s Day range?

Wow, I wish I could have gone! If you hear about anything in Essex ever please tell me! That pot of gold looks so strange – I seriously want to try that out and see if I look like the guy out of Rocky Horror (Or not – I'd rather not wear gold hot pants)
